Spent two nights there and all was great. Small but nice room, clean and with free wifi. Staff even during night was very helpful and accommodating. Location is not the best but very close to U Bahn station. Definitely recommend and will come back for sure.

This could be a really good hotel if it wasn't for the management. The location is good and my room was clean and while only small was quite adequate, though the wifi speed is very slow. However, when I arrived I was told I would have to go to another hotel miles away. I was told there was a 'system'... More

It was a great stay for us, really we had no issues during our 3 nights staying. WIFI connection was not very fast, but at least stable and enough for browsing. The room was very nice, even the bathroom was very well designed. We didn't choose the breakfast, because just around the corner there is amazing coffe place and much... More

Visited there for a weekend. The hotel is good connected so it was easy to find (close to U6 underground line) in front of the "Naturkundenmuseum" The staff was helpful and nice. Our room with the look of the museum was quite. On the other side there is a fireworks station which was busy. The rooms were clean and was... More

If you care about the cleanliness of a hotel, book a different hotel. The bed linen was clean, and the hotel did not have a bedspread, which is good considering hygine. However, that was the only approved part when it comes to cleaning. The first room I got had a moist feel to it and the air was heavy (even... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in September on a business trip. The room was comfortable although a little small. Breakfast was excellent. Well located for the Unter den Linden and U6. Walking distance to many attractions with a few good restaurants 10 mins walk away.

Despite a confirmed booking, secured by a credit card the hotel was full when I tried to check in. The alternative they offered, far away, was not acceptable. If you consider this hotel, make sure they have a room for you when you arrive! Wilhelm

Stayed here over the Easter weekend. Found it very reasonable. Rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was varied with different dishes for all nationalities catered for. The hotel itself is in a good location, a 10 minute walk from the main station and 15-20 minutes walk to most of the main sights in Berlin. The natural history museum is located... More

An okay basic hotel with clean rooms and new bathrooms. Beds are comfy. Central location with a walking distance to Unter den Linden and the U6 is just s block away. Only complaint was the street noise when you had to open the window (no air-conditioning)

First and foremost, the hotel management were unbelievably bad. They weren't rude, or impolite, but they failed to respond to a key concern that I had as a guest. You may laugh, but it was the failure to resolve a lack of WiFi access. As a business traveler internet access is essential, and this hotel was advertised as having free... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
