I stayed here for two nights for my trip Berlin and the hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out. The room was very clean. The bathroom was quite large and included a storage area for clothing. I found it kinda weird that the room safe was inside the bathroom. The bed was comfortable... More

This is hotel is GOOD, but not VERY GOOD for based on its star rating and range of amenities. It is excellent for couples, business travel, conferences etc.. but not idea if you looking a more discerning traveller who with high expectations of quality. That said, the staff were uber friendly and welcoming and for that alone I would return... More

Just back from a great weekend at the intercontinental Berlin. The hotel is well situated, 10 minutes walk to two s/u-ban stations and the 200 bus stop literally outside the door, so everywhere is within easy access. The room was great, large for Europe, and stylish with a lovely shower, good aircon etc. Breakfast was really good, a myriad of... More

We stayed here for a long weekend (4 nights) and weren't disappointed. After upgrading to Club we had a great room and access to the Club Lounge which was an excellent place to unwind, relax and have a drink or partake in the snack buffet which was always out. The spa was very good as well and a good selection... More

We booked this hotel as we decided to treat ourselves rather than go budget. We arrived a little early and understandably the rooms weren't quite ready so we retreated to the bar/cafe for a drink and a bit to eat. We went back at 3 and only one ro.Was ready so we all went up there to get rid of... More

The hotel is a relaxing and luxurious place to stay after having done lots of walking and touring of the city. The room is cosy, spacious and includes a big double bed, bathtub, shower, changing room etc. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is reasonably priced and of high standards. The pool and jacuzzi are also a great addition!

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Hotel. We are IHG members and they gave us an upgrade to a deluxe room, which was large and beautifully appointed. My husband works when we travel and there was enough desk space. The bathroom had an enclosed shower, an enclosed commode and a tub as well. Everyone was proficient in English... More

The room I got in this hotel is the best ever - I didn't want to leave!!! Lovely big comfy bed, beautiful shower / bathtub combined with rain shower, good size safe to lock your things, bathrobe and slippers, and great soap, shampoo and conditioner (some of the best ever). Great coffee from the in-room coffee machine, but sometimes the... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
