Stayed in many hotels in Berlin (Alsterhof, Axel, Concorde, Pullman) but this is one of the best. Why? Loved the rooms, Loved the facilities (although paying extra for the sauna/spa was a bit of a disappointment, but if this keeps the 'riff raff' out...), Loved the professionalism of staff, Loved the room on 7th floor, Club I believe, loved the... we spent three nights in this rather upscale hotel. It is large and encompasses numerous meetings and professional conferences. Our room was very nice with good luggage space and amenities such as wi-fi, turn down service, etc. The hotel staff was helpful. The concierge was very polite, but seemed to know little about such things as restaurants within walking distance.... More

My husband and I came to Berlin to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. When we checked in, they put us on the 7th floor but no access to club lounge. That's not important. We specially requested a king size bed room but were put in a twin bedroom. It would be strange for any couple to celebrate 24th anniversary and... More

Really Outstanding breakfast buffet quality. Efficient check in & out. Large lobby. Spacious rooms. Clean. Beds are extra comfortable. Helpful staff. Rooms & furniture in general looks old but we'll maintained. location a bit far from historic sites. 15 Minutes to Tegal airport.

What a splendid hotel. The staff made one feel at home, nothing too much trouble and very knowledgeable. Would recommend booking a Club Room and be able to use the Club Lounge, which really relaxes one after a hard day, - walking that is, not working. We will definately stay here again. Also the manager Gerasimos Ferentinos wants to hear... More

I just spent two nights at the Intercontinental Berlin and I can definitely recommend this property. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. We arrived early at the hotel however they gave us one of our two rooms immediately which was greatly appreciated. Furthermore the rooms are huge as are the well equipped bathrooms. Every small detail is taken care... More

Staying on the Club Floor of this hotel is a truly rewarding boutique hotel experience in one of the most successful big events hotels in Germany. The professional staff recognises and welcomes you back after your first visit. They point out interesting sights and shopping opportunities. And all of this is topped by the culinary standards. A fully stocked bar... More

We arrived early and were told that none of the rooms were ready so we still signed in and they took out bags, we came back at 2.30 after walking round the close Xmas markets and found two of our rooms were ready however the signing of registration cards was not handed over to the next shift which meant we... We stayed as part of a Christmas Market tour, with an additional 2 nights prior to the tour commencing. After getting oriented we found the hotel well located, with a reasonable walk to many facilities and sights. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding.

We booked this hotel as part of a package with EasyJet and it was extremely good value. The hotel is not in the centre of town but is a short bus ride away. The No. 200 bus stops outside and the 100 stops at the Aquarium which is a 5 minute walk away. We got a taxi from the airport... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
