1. A very decent hotel next to the zoo station. Therefore you have a good access to the pubic transport. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The italian (sardianian) restaurant opposite to the hotel is very good. 2. Good recognition of IHG elite member status. I was upgraded to a nicer room with nice view over... More

Check-in was swift and as a loyalty member I received a voucher for a free minibar item which was nice. Free internet included in the room which was fast enough for live streaming. The room was medium sized and had everything from ironing to coffee/ tea, slippers, bathrobes, hairdryer, desk, filled minibar. Window could be opened and heater adjusted. Bathroom... More

I have spent almost a week in the hotel in two different big meetings. The meeting arrangements and spaces are perfect, the food served excellent, the hotel in general classy, modern, and luxurious. The room is very nice, as well as the bathroom. It is not exactly in the absolute center, but neither it is far away. The lovely Tiergarten... More

We arrived at this hotel 4 hours before check in time as we were on an early flight from the UK. Not only did the receptionist check us in but upgraded us to a suite, free of charge, which was lovely. The suite was overlooking the street but the glazing was excellent and it was very quiet. The ensuite was... More

My sister and I stayed at the Berlin IC for 10 nights in March. We had booked the hotel car service to pick us up and we were so glad that we did. The taxi line was so long due to a convention. From the time we walked into the hotel that first night until we left, everyone was truly... More

We spent the Easter weekend in Berlin and were lucky enough to stay at the Intercontinental. Our plane from the UK was delayed so we arrived at the hotel later than we expected to. As the hotel was completely full they only had one superior room left which was a smoking room. As this was of course not acceptable the... More

Visited this hotel to attend an award function. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only problem I had was that they had a table in the centre of the room. In the night if you have to go to the bathroom there is every chance that you will bump into this table (if the room is dark). Beds are... More

We had such a great time here last time and decided to return mainly for this hotel and also to visit Berlin again. However, this time the hotel lacked some of it's magic from last time. The staff was nice but authoritative: for example they didn't allow us to come for breakfast in our hotel slippers (have done this in... More

Dear NM2181, Thank you for having chosen our hotel again and for bringing your experience to my attention. I am sorry that we could not meet your expectations this time. The service you experienced does not correspond to our own standards. Especially, the privacy of our guests is very important for us. Due to hygiene measures in Germany it is... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
