This hotel has a very good price-performance value. The rooms are quiet and clean, the breakfast is very good and typical German. The location is fantastic, only 5 minutes to S-Bahn. The staff is always very helpful! Since I lived 10 years in Berlin, I know the city quite well and come often back to visit. This hotel is from... More

We had a lovely, very spacious room with very comfortable beds. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Tiergarten tube station, very convenient for the centre. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly. I loved the decor of modern paintings and small statues. Very arty feel. We would definitely come here again!! Highly recommend it.

I stayed for two nights at Hotel Hansablick and had a great experience. My room was very generous in size, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated without being too over the top. The carefully selected artworks add character and uniqueness full-length windows looking out over the river make the room feel quite luxurious. The Hotel is on a street that appeared to... More

Thank you so much to the friendly staff at Hansablick who helped to make our stay so relaxed. A charming hotel with style, reflected in its art collection and refurbishment of a traditional apartment building. Comfortable bed, quiet room (205), lovely lounge and breakfast room and such a great breakfast buffet. Could easily have stayed longer than our three days.... More

We wanted a hotel that was in a quiet part of Berlin but near to transport connections for the city. It proved to be a perfect choice. The hotel has been renovated extremely well from a tenement building and is tastefully decorated with mainly modern art. It was good to have a lounge where we could relax and meet our... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was good. Easy to find from the train station as its less than 5 minutes walk. Very friendly staff and were able to give plenty of advice on travelling round Berlin and places to go and see and also about local area. The room was very big with a separate area with comfortable... More

I had just stayed a few days at the Intercontinental down the road - in a room the size of a closet - for $250 CAD a night. For a fraction of the cost, my room at this hotel was 3 times larger, very bright, clean - in a building with high ceilings and lovely mouldings and staircase. Certainly, is... More

This is a clean and friendly hotel. It is an easy walk to the U-bahn and S-bahn. Parking is a breeze. One complaint is a lack of good restaurants nearby. We did not use breakfast there and cannot comment on it. The other complaint is our room was next to the entry so we heard buzzing late into the night.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
