I stayed here for two weeks, and I absolutely cannot recommend it. Here's why: - On arrival, there was nobody at the reception, I had to use my cell phone to call for someone to come. - The whole place looked poorly maintained, if at all, and looks absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website. The hallway is full... More

Nice room and worth the cheap deal that i got, the room was tidy, fridge and bathroom all in good working order. Good 24/7 access to the room and great location for links to the main platz in Berlin, recommended

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially as Expedia had cancelled my booking for me before I arrived which is never helpful. The guy offered us his only room and made adjustment as he put another mattress in to cater for the three of us. Couldn't fault the staff. The room itself and the establishment needs some improvement. Pitch black... More

Awful room with extremely dangerous wiring. Toilet handle feel off. Shower head had no bracket. Due to a booking error, one of the party ended up sleeping on the floor. Only positive was the helpful staff on duty.

Very unpleasant stay, Dirty, loud, we could hear everything what is happening on the floor above. Access to the room in the evening limited and dangerous. Price-performance ratio tragic. I do not recommend.

I would not recomend this to anyone. My friend and I booked 2:rooms for 4 nights. We read the reviews which said basic but clean, this was all we needed. Basic yes, but clean no. The rooms were filthy. Shower heads had thick grime on, the toilet leaked and the bathroom stank of urine. Rusty shower trays the list goes... More

If what you're looking for a is a place to crash at the end of the day, then this is perfect. The cafe attached has a good selection of pastries and coffees - friendly staff. The only issue I had was in my arrival. In my reservation materials, I indicated a somewhat later arrival time. When I arrived, the entrance... More

I mean, yes it was a nice stay. I only stayed for some 2 1/2 nights (had to leave very early in the morning) to be hones, it was a bit nicer than I expected it to be for a relatively inexpensive hotel. However, no extraordinary experience. I went there, slept. It served its purpose.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
