We arrived on a Sunday night and were nicely welcomed by the reception staff, who were very helpful and spoke fluent English. We were given the room 413, which at first was very impressive, modern and large. I particularly loved how we had our own corridor and could close it off to create a smaller, cozy space for sleeping -... More

This hotel is right next to the train station, which is great for getting around on. The hotel is also close to lots of resaurant on the water side and also just off a main shopping high street. The rooms were very well equipped with up to date showers and products. The staff on the whole were very friendly, except... More

The Eurostar Berlin is a fabulous hotel. The staff in the breakfast room are very helpful and attentive, as are the receptionists. The cleanliness is second to none. Breakfast has lots of choice and fresh. Room are modern and well executed. The swimming pool is on the 8th floor with sauna's. The location is next to the main train station... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel situation outside train station exit. Could not hear any noise from the train whilst in hotel. Friendly staff. Nice bedrooms, our bed was huge! Great location for seeing all sites in Berlin either on foot or rain. Would stay here again

We had no issues at all and enjoyed our 4 nights stay. The sauna and pool look decent but haven't got the time to use it during the stays. Can be tricky to spot the hotel as it's located alone the lane that you could easily miss. However, great location tho, right next to the train station and subway plus... More

This is my third stay. The hotel is well located by friedrichstrasse station. The staff are all friendly at reception desk and assist with any enquires. We normally eat out other than having the buffet breakfast which is wide and varied.it sometimes runs out on things but is replenished.milk for cereal sometimes warm so need to ask for fresh cold... We stayed here from the 21rst to the 24th of December. The rooms were lovely and clean. There was a big shower with jets and you could listen to the tv/radio while in the shower. Our view from our window was not so great as we looked out to see a big wall of graffiti. Don't eat in the restaurant.... More

I spent some days with my family (wife and a son 13) in this hotel. I found it very clean, quite, and confortable with a good SPA area and a swimming pool very convenient after a day spent outside in a polar temperature. The cost of the room was absolutely cheap, we had a large room with three beds and... More

This hotel had really good customer service and was very comfortable for our family trip when my husband also had work meetings. It's a great place for an American family with kids to stay because it's not too European or awkward with things that are different from home. Our room had a large shower and tub and separate toilet. There... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Although not on the hippest part of town, the location is convenient - right next to a train station, one stop away from Hauptbahnhof, and all major touristy things within easy reach. Larger than expected room, in very good condition and well insulated from external noise.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
