When we get the roorm we found that it was in front of a wall and with separate beds. The lady at the reception did her bigest effort she could to give us an other room. She was asked for a silent room in a high level, with one king s. bed -a lot of requirements- She fullfilled a l... More

We just came back from this hotel. Great nice hotel. The location is superb; only a few meters from friedch station . The atmosphere at the hotel is luxury and tranquil . The staff is very helpful and the service is in high level. The rooms are really big considering other European hotels . Don't miss the superb breakfast .... More

I stayed at the hotel three times already. The hotel is really good, including breakfest. It is located next to a big train station and very easy to come and go. Short distance from main attractions (such as brandenburg gate and unter der linden)

We (my wife and I) chose the hotel based on users recommendations that are mostly right. First thing is location, less than 100 meters from one of Berlin's main stations is awesome, trains, u-bahn, s-bahn you have it all. Downside, a little bit noisy. Staff is welcoming, helpful in wharever needed and very efficient, German in the better sense. Rooms... More

This hotel is in a great location, hidden behind the Friedrichstraße DB station. It is very modern and comfortable. You can walk to most of the important city sites. The Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Unter den Linden, and Checkpoint Charlie are all within a mile radius. Also, it is Spanish based hotel, so if your looking for that authentic German feel,... More

Very nice hotel - clean rooms, comfortable bed, large bathroom (although no bath only a shower), superb service at the front desk. Located in the heart of Friedrichstrasse, very close to the Spree river and minutes from Unter der Linden. The prices are more than reasonable for what you get. It's not a luxurious hotel but provides all you need.... More

We booked last minute so the prices were a little high. Nevertheless, we were very happy with the hotel. It's centrally located, staff is very kind, the pool and sauna are good and rooms are spacious and clean! There is a parking (20€/night) and possibility to rent bikes (12€/day). The only negative point was the slow (but free) wifi connexion... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
