A friend and I spent a night in Berlin on our way to Poland and stayed one night at the Eurostar. We picked it mainly for the location since we didn't have a lot of time in Berlin and were pleasantly surprised. I tried asking for an outside room but since i checked in around 9am and they didn't have... More

A work team of 15 people, we arrived at 2pm for our rooms. None was ready. We didn't get offered a glass of water as we were waiting. And left without being able to check in before our busy work day. Bad welcome. Bad organization skills. I can't tell about the room.. Since we haven't seen them so far. Was... More

Love this hotel! My husband stayed here the previous year and then we booked the same hotel for out travel. Modern amenities, great location (just a few steps from the Metro) and you can even cross the bridge to explore the bars at the other side. Service was great, very helpful staff. Overall a great stay! In fact, we plan... More

We stayed here during the Champions League Final and we would defenitely repeat. Excellent location: close to public transport and main spots reachable by walking. Luxury rooms and service. Amazing breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff.

This hotel is new, stylish, well situated in the eastern part of the city center steps from the Spree river. The deluxe king had a separate room for the bed and was otherwise spacious with a nice very quiet view of an inner courtyard. Room is decorated nicely and is very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is worth every euro with... More

Just spent 4 nights at the Eurostars Hotels in Berlin and the location and hotel where spot on. If you are travelling from Schonefeld Airport get the R7 or R14 (Airport Express) and its about 4 stops to Friedreichstrasse Station, exit out under the railway bridge and the hotel is across the road about 200m on the left. Although very... More

Simply, I just like Eurostars Hotels. We recently stayed at the Eurostars Berlin and enjoyed a very good experience. The staff was very friendly and very swift at our arrival. We were on our way to our rooms in no time. The room was perfect, of a good size and everything felt new. The bathroom was large, very large for... More

Located in FriedrichstraBe station, very convenient to walk around to the attractions or to take S-Bahn. Staffs are very polite and supportive. Foods served at the bar on the 1st floor are good especially salmon stake I would recommend. In general, this is a qualified hotel in Berlin for both business and tour purposes.

It is a pity that such an impressive hotel is located in such a run-down part of Berlin. If it were located in, say, Kurfürstenstrasse it would be perfect. On the contrary, the area still reminisces of its former East-Berlin past, with drab buildings and shady street life, especially at night. The hotel is very modern and efficient, the rooms... More

This hotel is suitable base camp when planning walking trips in the city. For longer trips the railroad station in 300 meters away. In spite of the central location the hotel offers very quiet and peaceful stay.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
