Great location, great room, everything about my stay here was good. The only disappointing thing was the gym, super small, and the treadmills did not work. Close to this hotel you will find a Starbucks, Block House, a great burger place!

I travel to Berlin quite regularly for business and like to try different hotels. This hotel is tucked away, just off Friedrichstrasse, by the station. It's a great central location and very handy for jumping on public transport. I have to say that I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I would definitely choose this hotel again. The room... More

For someone traveling from Asia the service can seem a bit limited. But then you realise it is more cultural than anything else. Some of the rooms here face inwards, into a very limited lobby which can be quite painful. The rooms by themselves are quite well equipped, nothing surprisingly pleasing though. The breakfast fare is limited, room service has... More

Attended a conference for two days, which involved city excursions the hotel location is close to Brandenburger Tor and Checkpoint Charlie, among many other interesting places. The hotel itself, and the rooms, are clean and modern, the staff very friendly and helpful and the conference rooms well suited for our needs. Lightning and temperature in the conference rooms where perfect,... More

Eurostars Berlin, Berlin's location is perfect. The front desk staff, specially Gloria and Jose were excellent throughout our 2 week stay. Also Jorge, who is doing an internship at the hotel and was most helpful and friendly. Manuel in reservations helped with certain problems we had and was the best. The breakfast was perfect....all kinds of different things to select from. It... More

I give this hotel 2/5 because it's REALLY just not a 5-star hotel. It's a perfectly nice 4-star hotel (I would give it 4/5 as a 4-star... I've stayed in nicer around Europe). European capitals have some truly impressive 5-star hotels with amazing services, gyms, and amenities. This is not that hotel. The "gym" is a few cardio machines and... More

We stayed in a terrible place (see my review of Hotel Calma) and booked this hotel in desperation at 2am during the night as we needed somewhere to escape to. We fled to Eurostars the next morning, exhausted and stressed, and our worries immediately vanished. The hotel was utterly perfect! You can choose from rooms overlooking the street where you... The Eurostars Hotel is perfectly located right beside Friedrichstrasse train station. From here you have easy access to all the sights of Berlin. The hotel is lovely with a great lobby and bar area. Check in was quick and easy and the staff is so helpful and friendly. The bedroom is spacious, spotlessly clean and very modern with everything you... More

Stayed in this hotel around mid-December for 3 nights, very nice and accessible. Located steps from Friedrichstrasse station, this hotel’s location could not fail me as it was so convenient to get to places around Berlin. Had the room on the higher floors facing the university and Museum Island, generous size and nice, bright bathroom. Luckily the pool and sauna... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
