This has an excellent mixture for conference hotel. I spent the weekend there for a alumni winter ball in January 2009 and was very impressed with decor and service. There are was a great fitness, sauna and swimming pool area. There are even fresh bathrobes that you could use there. I spent 2-3 hours working out and then relaxing there.... more

We’ve stayed in Berlin previously (At Alexanderplatz) and chose to go back as we love the city and had a great time when first there. We chose the hotel because there was a good deal on Expedia. We arrived at Schoenefeld and got the train to Zoologischer garten for only a few Euros each and took about half hour. Zoologishcher... more

Stayed at the Steigenberger early march, and was not too impressed with the room. Rather dated designs, and the double bed was (as too often is the case) more like 2 singles pushed together. Why don't hotels at least put a thick (!!) upper mattress on top when they do this? Relatively big room, though, with a desk and a... more

Went for 2 day business trip with colleagues. Needed to book a conference room in hotel when we got there, and we were given one straight away at surprisingly reasonable rate. Worked through the evening and got excellent drinks and meal service brought to our conference room by very friendly waiter - again at short notice and no long delay... more

We would agree with some earlier views that this is a 4* rather than a 5* hotel. It's a quiet, convenient base for the western half of Berlin, for Ku-Damm shopping, and links to other areas of the city. The somewhat Stalinist exterior gives way to a roomy foyer, although a few more chairs there would be useful. Pleasant, helfpul... more

Alright so another 4+ Star hotel in the books and I must say this doesn't compare to others I've stayed in that are equal or higher in star category. I ended up choosing this hotel for a couple reasons. First, I was short on time and availability for avail rooms for New Years Eve in Berlin. Second, location was key... more

We drove to Berling arriving early on the Sunday morning at 10.30am after parking our car in the hotels underground parking facility we took the elevator to the reception area and our Steigenberger experiance began. This hotel is very comfortable and modern. They allow pets and have parking available. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. There are restaurants and bars in the hotel, but the prices are very high. It is easy to find a more authentic experience within walking distance of the hotel. It is in a pretty peaceful neighborhood so walking... more

Stayed here for seven nights. This is a very good hotel with all the usual amenities of a four star stay-over. I also got an excellent rate (<200$/night) on the internet so the value was great as well. The Berliner Stuber has tasty regional food. Perfect location to explore the western half of the city. Clean rooms, above average service. more
