We visited this hotel in early April with another couple. Its advantages are its location (very close to S+U Zoologischer Garten station), the price, the clean rooms and the breakfast which was more than satisfying! Also, the staff was polite and helpful whenever asked. It is totally recomended if your type of visit involves being on the road all day... More

The location was excellent - really central - and the room was clean, cheap and we were upgraded as they didn't have a double room for us, so we had a twin and pushed the beds together. Breakfast was lush, it was quiet at night and we got good use out of the bath. That's not a code for 'we... More

AZIMUT hotel has a good location near best shopping centers. Breakfast costs 11€ but you can find better meals nearby. There is a shop just beside the hotel that you can buy drinks all the night. The train station "zoologischer garten" is very close. The rooms are large simple & clean. Main problem is windows that are not acoustic and... More

Just returned from Berlin, Azimut ideally situated. Breakfast excellent loads of choice. Downside no tea/coffee making facilities. Some of the reception/bar staff quite rude. Asked for extra pillows, never got. When asking for drinks we were told "wine, beer or tea" for the first two days. Second two days the reception/bar staff was excellent. We could have to drink what... More

Stayed in the Azimut hotel for 4 nights in February with my wife. Overall the stay was very pleasant. The hotel itself is old, but has a charm to it. The location is perfect in that it's near the zoo gardens stations.Been so near the station you can get a direct train to the airport which cost about €3 from... More

Stayed here in February with a couple of friends. The hotel has a great location: you can walk to shops and restaurants and the station for the S-bahn and the U-bahn. We had a big suite, which was as expected for the price we paid. Nice and quiet. The breakfast was ok, and no in-room coffee.

Travelling as a family we booked 3 rooms at this hotel at the very middle of the Berlin-West. Perfect location for shopping and near the Zoologischer garten train station. The rooms are large with classic decoration, seating area and high ceilings. Bathrooms are renovated and with tubes and showers. The breakfast was perfect. There is also a big supermarket nearby.... Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel on cheap deal. Stayed in a superior room which was spacious for two of us. Had a nice comfortable bed. On arrival pleasant receptionist asked whether we wanted a view over the road or facing inside, we requested inside as I thought this may be quieter, which it was, overlooked a courtyard but... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
