We took a weekend get-away to Berlin and found this hotel online. Every hotel we tried to book was full- due to a huge reunification celebration that weekend, but ABACUS had rooms. I wasn't sure to expect - but was plesantly suprised. We booked through booking.com and it came to 159 euro for two nights for a double. The room... more

We found our stay in Berlin to be alright thanks to the Abacus. Especially considering that Berlin is quite expensive to find a place, we were satisfied with our stay. If we found a similar hotel a bit closer in with the same price and same facilities (particularly if it was in the west), we might prefer it over the... more

I booked a standard room through HotelClub and was upgraded to a suite which was absolutely huge. I paid about 55EUR including breakfast which is a buffet style with an excellent range of items. I also had dinner at the Restaurant on the Sunday night when they offer a special price of about 12EUR including a glass of wine. The... more

Stayed here as part of a 7 Day Contiki tour of Berlin and Prague over Christmas. Stayed in a Studio Room, which had two king single beds and a small rollaway bed. Very spacious room, with a nice entryway with a large wardrobe and storage area for luggage and clothes. Room also had a lovely lounge and sitting area, with... more

Arrived to the Tierpark via a taxi. Found the hotel slightly dated but very spacious. My room was a quick walk from the reception which was a great treat. Unfortunately the lock on my room was worn so the key was very difficult to use. Upon entering I found the room pleasant. We had more than enough space to drop... more

It was the weekend of the Berlin Marathon, so it was hard to get a room in Berlin. Sadly we booked this hotel for expensive 95 € a night. In our first room we had several silverfishes in the bathroom and one mattrass had springs to be feeled very easily which punished your back. So we wanted to leave after... more

Had a 3 night stay at this hotel. Could not fault it, particuarly value for money. Situated in the old east Berlin, 2 minute walk from underground trains, which took about 15 minutes to city centre. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes for train. Ask at reception for a 2 or 3 day travel pass, includes discounts to... more

The Abacus Tierpark is an above average hotel, used by many business travellers and was busy throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful with lots of choice for large and small appetites but the restaurant gets very busy at about 07:30 - 08:30 on weekdays and 08:30 - 09:30 at weekends. The staff were all extremely helpful and... more

I stayed in this hotel with my mother for a short citytrip (3 nights). This hotel is marvelous! It deserves at least 3 out of 5 stars (my travelguide said 3+ stars.) The room we stayed in was huge, it was about 35 squaremeters. The room included a writing desk with stationery, tv plus tv guide, minibar, shoepolish, a press... more
