Firstly, we were a bit disappointed - after picking 1x double bed over 2x singles - that we were given 2x single beds pushed together. I have since been told this is common in European hotels, however it doesn't make for a very romantic trip with your partner! There was no coffee/tea/kettle amenities in the room to make yourself a... More

4 of us went for a long weekend to see the Christmas markets December 2015. Good hotel, decent bathroom and comfortable beds. pillows were a soft lump! maid service every day. Breakfast was continental with german sausage, eggs, tomato, cheese, meets, potato wedges, cereals etc. very busy and the staff were rushed off their feet, very friendly but overworked, one... More

Berlin is a fascinating city consisting of several areas of very widely differing social, cultural and historical features. Wonderful architecture;new, modern in the former West and original, restored in the East, evidences a forward thinking progressive city. The transport system accross the city is fantastic- a completely integrated network of buses, overground and underground trains, with passes available at good... More

This hotel isn't very fancy. It is a good hotel to stay in though. I would recommend it because it is cheap and close to the city centre. You can walk to the train stations easily and quickly. It is close to some good restaurants also. I would recommend

This is a great located hotel for what we needed! Great for sightseeing and just off kurferstandem shopping street! Right beside lidl too. 5min walk to zoo and aquarium, and also only a few minute way to train/subway station. Staff are so friendly even when under pressure which was definitely a bonus. Reception and bar are nice when you walk... More

Excellent location for shopping, sightseeing, business. Breakfast a bit expensive. Rooms are not very spacious though ergonomic. Good value for money! Hotel bar is very popular and crowdy in the evening.

The location is excellent. The hotel has big capacity and potential. Nice breakfast. Ironing service available although not listed in the hotel description. Very good internet. However, the hotel have seen better times. The room urgently need to be renovated. The walls and the carpet are dirty. Some facilities in the bad were partly broken. No cosmetics and toilet items... The location was very good indeed. But it was a disappointment as the hotel is definitely not a four star hotel. The room was very small, the tv was very small. Internet was OK. The bathroom was also quite small.

Great location but needs updating. Furniture was stained and old. It was quite noisy from the other rooms and the street. We were in the suite but was quite small. They did listen to our complaints and we're happy to remedy them though.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
