The one thing great about the Mark Hotel is the location. Walking distance fom some really neat cafes and restaurants, the Mark Hotel is also very close to all the starting points for city tours, most of which are hop off and on. My wife and I stayed at the Mark again.Standards still high, location a winner.Berlin is so spread out so move about by bus or subway so travel card is worth thinking about.Near hotel is a lidls store were beer drinkers can get a cask of beer for 4.90euros which contains about 9pints.Hotel charges 5 euros for a beer...rocket science......no.Germany like... more

Berlin Marks is conveniently located on a quiet side street off Kurfurstendamm, the main shopping strip of Berlin. This hotel was great. It reminded me a lot of an American hotel...a nice flatscreen tv (only english channels are news), comfy beds with great downcomforters, large room, and good size bathroom. A group of four guys from the US stayed in two rooms in the Berlin Mark for the week of November 21-27, 2008. I loved the hotel's location just off the K'dam and near the U and S Bahn. not a bad hotel,but without doubt the rudest staff i have ever met.not one please or thank you throughout the whole stay.all i can assume is that is was probably because i am english.several other english people had the same problem.anything you asked them seemed to annoy them. more
