Good staff and confort. A little bit standard the room, but with wonderfull sight at the river. Very good location in a quiet and nice place. I liked very much the stile of the bilding and the river outside.

This experience was a compendium of various feared, but partly yet unrealized occurrences. Please do stay here if you're not too picky about: wanting a room with other tea selection than fruity flavours, a Wi-Fi that does inexplicably stop accepting the access code mid-stay, a receptionist who gets indignant when she later learns that I wasn't a natural German-speaker after... We had 4 nights here and they were lovely. Pros:- Gorgeous river views, close to Bellevue S Bahn station, spacious clean rooms, plenty of storage, safe in room, helpful staff, powerful showers, room cleaned daily, shops and restaurants close by, good nights sleep. Cons:- poor wifi, 'double beds' were 2 singles pushed together, tried to charge us for mini bar... More

Good for transport links and sight-seeing. Good, clean amenities at a good price. Would have had to upgrade to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Unusual outlook from the ground floor room we were booked in to but this wasn't important given that we were only there for three nights.. Really helpful staff. We would book there again.

Very good location for a new year's break in Berlin. An easy walk to the Tiergarten and a beautiful view of the fireworks from their top floor. Practical functional rooms and a brilliant breakfast. Efficient friendly staff. We will be back.

Stayed there for a weekend (Fri-Sun). Perfect location in a quiet and beautiful area by the river. You don't hear any noise from outside while you are in the room. Perfect location with short walking distance to S-Bahn. Spacious & clean room with comfy beds. Breakfast was really good with many choices. Staff at reception were kind and helpful. I... More

Great location close to the river and a short walk to the U-bahn station meaning it's a good base for visiting Berlin. I had a waterside room with a great view of the river. Room was very comfortable. My only issue was that the only heating appeared to be in the bathroom, so meant it got quite cold during the... More

Walking distance to an S-Bahn station so easy to get around the city. Located on the bank of the river Spree some of its rooms are below river level and have interesting flood gates in the corridor. Restaurant is fairly average but there is a nice Bavarian restaurant a few doors away (yes, I know Berlin is in Prussia not... More

We thougt we ordered a familyroom with 2 fullsized beds, but it was a big disappointment that it was only 1 and 2 single beds, which were very bad for adults. After a long discussion with the chairman, we got a small compentation. The breakfast was very good and also the dinner in the restaurant. You cant't get a familyroom... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
