I've stayed at this hotel for only one night while I was passing by Berlin. It's nicely located downtown Berlin, lots of shops near-by and close to the tube or other means of transportation. The room itself was clean and well kept, but all the furniture in was pretty old and used. It didn't bothered me too much though I... More

we stayed in Berliner Hof Hotel during xmas holidays in a family room. The location was superb near the shops, restaurants and very close to the zoo. Our room was very spacious and breakfast was more than expected. In total a great value for money option in the heart of Berlin.

A good location in central Berlin. Perhaps a ten minute walk from the train station (which is about 45 minute ride from the airport). Not sure what I expected in central Berlin, but this area reminded me of NYC. While the buildings aren’t nearly as tall, there were crowds of people out in the evening (it was quite cold and... This hotel is located right next to Ku'damm shopping area which also has a good variety of restaurants and obviously it also offers excellent connections to other parts of town by public transport. The hotel itself is very basic. Our room was a family room which was spacious but not very cozy. It's made for sleeping, nothing more. For many... More

Located near both Kurfurstendam and Zoologische U stations, this is a budget but clean hotel, convenient for travelling both from the airport and to city locations. Rooms are reasonably tight for space but very clean. At least there was a separate desk/shelf area with chair. Breakfast is a reasonably wide buffet, served in a windowless inner area, with alarmingly bright... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our Berliner Hof Hotel Berlin. I am glad to hear that you liked the central location of our hotel right between the famous Gedaechtniskirche and the shopping centre KaDeWe. The more it concerns me that not everything during your stay with us was to your fullest satisfaction. I... More

We stayed here in December for the Christmas markets and the location for the memorial church market was great. The rooms are a bit basic but clean and tidy. On cleaning the rooms our daughters cuddly toys were well looked after! We forgot one and they brought it to us on checkout. A little cramped for room in the breakfast... More

This is our 3rd stay at the Berliner Hof & we thoroughly enjoyed it. This visit was to experience the Christmas markets & we couldn't have been any closer to one of them. Having said that there was no noise in the rooms from this but we got a great view. We have stayed in the comfort rooms as they... More

This is a great 3 star hotel. Large rooms and a smashing breakfast. Helpful staff and free wifi. And what a location - right on one of the key areas of Berlinewith KaWeDe and Ku-Damm in easy walking distance. Can't fault it all - and the price is excellent

We stayed at this hotel for an extended weekend in Berlin for christmas shopping. We selected it for the price and the location, and both were excellent. The hotel is right in the middle of the major shopping area with beautiful christmas lights and easy for access to U-bahn. And very reasonably priced for such good location. The entrance to... More

Very good hotel with a great location. Comfy and clean rooms. The hotel was very secure. Friendly stay and very welcoming. Excellent use of wifi. Shame the hotel did not have its own bar as this would be a great asset to them. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
