This is a very nice hotel we stayed here for business. About 6 weeks. There are 2 types of rooms. Comfort and comfort plus. The plus rooms are very nice big clean and a very good shower these are 10 euros more per night the other rooms are a bit less, clean but small. The breakfast is simple but alright.... More

I spent two nights in this hotel with my husband and two kids ( 3 and 5 years old). The location is really great specially that we were planning to visit the Berlin Zoo which is only 5 minutes walk. Downside to its central location is that finding a parking place is really hard, we always had to drive 2 to... More

we stayed here for a couple of nights. The location was ideal being only a 5 min walk from the bus terminal so only a 20min bus ride to and from the airport. The room was extremely clean and spacious. The shower for my liking was a little low, if you were 6 foot tall then you'd stoop to shower.... More

I stayed in the Berliner Hof for 4 nights. The hotel is very central and located in West Berlin. It's only 2 min away from the KaDeWe (big department store) and Bahnhof Zoo. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. There are extra pillows should you need them. The room had a TV with many channels and radio. Breakfast... More

This is a well priced hotel with central location in West Berlin.Unfortunatley has a poor entrance, tiled wall that shares with a Fitness Centre. The hotel has spacious rooms and good breakfast at a price that is very good by Berlin standards. The rooms on loer floor(second)are more spacious with a living area.Very close to Rail connection and main shopping area.

The Berliner Hof is a basic hotel with decent size family rooms. We took out three grandchildren and wanted somewhere central at a reasonable price. Everything we wanted to visit were either a short U-Bahn journey (station 5 minutes walk away) or even in walking distance. The kids loved the zoo which is a 10 minute walk - although it... More

Stayed there for two nights in November - location is great, a few minutes from the subway and S Bahn station. The staff on duty was nice and tried to be helpful, but left the impression of helplessness and cluelessness. The rooms are spacious and quiet and clean. The furniture is a bit outdated and some of it is IKEA... More

The hotel is located very close to the zoological garten train station, and 2 other U Bhan stops so the location is fantastic. The hop-on-hop-off starts from bang opposite to the hotel which is convenient. The europa center is next to it and the KaDeWe is at a 2 mins walking distance. The Berlin zoo is at 5 mins walking distance.... More

Great location and nice staffs. The location is highly accessible. If you are traveller and looking for internet SIM card or rent a car, the Europa center is just next to the hotel. Taking bus to central site seeing point is also very convenient. Price is alright.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
