Rooms and bathrooms are clean and updated, staff is nice and helpful and the location is perfect. Try to pick a room that does not face the front of the hotel because the avenue is noisy 24/7. It wasn't a big deal for me because it felt like home in NYC. We rented bikes from the hotel and I absolutely... more

Great location, great staff, great atmosphere, great breakfast.... Free coffee on every floor, fast and free internet. Our stay was great, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Easy to get to from the zoo trainstation and a short walk away from the best shopping street in the west. I would recommend to all more

Price and metro-access were the deciding factor in choosing this hotel. It was ok, in the end. The hotel is a bit far from most sights, but well serviced by Berlin's excellent public transport system. The room was a bit shabby and smelly (we were in a smoking room), but it was probably the best we could have expected for... more

We made a reservation for a standard room, and immediately upon arrival were upgraded to a better room, on the 6th floor. No special view from the window, but the room was very clean and quiet, quite spacious with a big closet and a desk. The bathroom was very well equipped and at a high standard, in European terms. A... more

After debating the best location in Berlin from which to indulge our passion for walking tours, we settled on the Best Western President Hotel. Although we really couldn’t see much difference in the web descriptions of the regular versus “superior” rooms, we paid the extra handlful of euros and were delighted to find ourselves in a mini-suite with a separate... more

Basic hotel, but functional and central location. Small bar, clean rooms. Fine for a business trip or holiday when you're not looking for a unique hotel. Central location, 5-10mins walk from Zoo/big shopping area, 3 mins to Wittenbergplatz tube. You can take one tube line direct to ICC if you're at a conference there. Steak restaurant just over the crossroads... more

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and paid a very good rate on a prepaid basis (73 EUR per night) through Booking.com. I just used the hotel to sleep, so I cannot tell anything about breakfast and gym. My room was not so big but very comfortable, with LCD television, spacious desk, free internet access, well unsonorised windows;... more

The hotel were located close to the "shopping street" Kurfurstendamm and Europas biggest shoppingsenter the KaDeWe. The hotels breakfast was nice, but a bit expensive, so its possible to make a better deal in one of the nearby restaurants. The rooms was a bit worn, and the one we had was quite small, but still ok. The hotel also had... more

Stayed in the Presidential Club rooms and given it was a Best Western, it was definitely above standard. After having a very bad experience with Best Western as a corporation after problems with a hotel in Toronto, I never use this chain. However, a work function required me to stay here so I gave it another chance. The room was... more
