for a 4-star hotel, I expected more. On the plus side, the buffet breakfast was marvelous and satisfying, but staff was lacking. I received phone calls from the US which went unanswered. Often there was only one young clerk at the desk. I was staying on the 5th floor in the annex and not once but twice the elevator was... More

I was there in April 2014. When I saw it from outside,I didn't expect much. But,when I came inside,I realized how wrong I was. The girls in the entrance were very friendly and helpful. Our room was cosy, beautiful and had a view at the road. I think the wc and the cleaning was the 5star reason. I love your... More

I really really loved this hotel especially after my 'hot' stay at NH Dusseldorf Konigsallee. I spent three nights in Dusseldorf before going to Berlin. And because all rooms in NH Dus Konigsalle were not air-conditioned so I wrote NH Berlin Kurfuerstendamn an email beforehand asking whether their rooms were air-conditioned or not. If not then I would cancel my... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel in Berlin. The hotel is in a great location just off the Kurfuerstendamm, there is a U Bahn station at the end of the road on the K dam, there is a bus stop for the City Circle bus tour in the same place. The hotel is very clean and... More

Breakfast in hotel is rather expensive. You will find in Uhlandstrasse a bakery Steinbeckecke where you get coffee, large baguette + egg for 5 €:s. I recommend this place compared the other in Kurfurstamm because they don´t have same amount slices in side baguette. We had also in Bistro 1900 (Knesebeckstrasse) breakfast and it was really good and price was... More

I stayed here for a set of meetings in Berlin. The location was very good, right near the main shopping street and easy to the subway. The room was very nice -- spacious and clean. I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel -- the buffet was too expensive but there were several coffee shops within a block. We held a... More

My 3rd visit to Berlin and first time in the Savingnyplatz area. Very central and convenient to all transportation. Lots of restaurants nearby and you can always hop on the U bahn to anywhere in the city for some variety. Spacious and clean room. I faced the street on the 6th floor and it was very quiet.

This was our second visit in two years. The staff are warm and very helpful. Room is a good size, clean, comfortable with every necessary facility. The hotel is around 200 yards from Savigny Platz Station. This is beneficial for those folk arriving from Berlin Airport, however a taxi may be used at around 45 euros. A great café nearby... More

A lovely stay at the NH Berlin Kurfuerstendamm - we always stay in this area whenever we visit Berlin as it is close to everything and has excellent transport links nearby. The hotel is located near the busy Kurfuerstendamm shopping street, it is about a 15 - 20 euro cab fair from Tegel airport and can be reached easily by... More

I travel to Berlin mostly for business and this is my hotel of choice. They always give me a quiet room to the back, serve excellent breakfast that includes fresh waffles (I recommend to eat them with wild berry jam and fresh pineapple). The service is excellent.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
