Booked a 3 nights stay at the Heckers after finding the reviews and price the best compared to other in the Kudamm area. The hotel is located just off the main road on Kudamm and very easy to find. We arrived via the 109 Bus from Tegel which takes approx 25 min and stops just a few hundred meters away... More

Booked this after trawling through trip advisor and this seemed good value for money whilst also being in good location. Many of the higher ranking hotels were further out. For the first time we didn't upgrade our room as we thought we wouldn't be there much as we would be sight seeing most of the time - I was therefore... More

Dea guests, thank you very much for these wonderful words about our services! Concerning the TV channels I would like to add, that we are already offering over 60 channels (in over 8 languages) in the guest rooms and movies on satellite are still very costly In Germany. However this might give us an idea to upgrade our system in... More

My niece and I stayed at the Heckers hotel from the 13th of March till the 16th of March. We was pleasantly surprised by the this hotel. The hotel is in a brilliant location in Kurfurstendamm. About a 5 minute walk to the U Bahn. Walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. The rooms were large and very... More

This hotel is in a great location, just off Kurfurstendamm, very close to U Bahn and bus routes. Lovely large rooms. Very nice staff especially the breakfast ladies. Rooms were a little warm, even with no heating on. Maybe too hot in the summer unless you opened the windows - so ask for a room at the back to avoid... More

I was amazed by the quality of this hotel. On room on the first floor (European style) was spacious with a large double bed and walk-in closet. Because I was on the street I feared that it would be noise but it was very quiet. The staff are friendly and English-speaking. An English language newspaper, a welcome break from the... More

I had a great experience during my stay at Hecker Hotel. The room is really spacious, clean and quiet with awesome window view. If you're looking for hotel with strategic location at Berlin, this hotel is the best choice. You can just walk around 15 minutes to Bikini Berlin, one of hipster shopping mall in Berlin. Want to taste curry... More

This is a wonderful hotel. Lives up to its 4-star official rating, and them some. We booked a superior double room, but it appears that we had an upgrade, since we were in a huge room with a small kitchenette in the closet. Not that you would need the kitchenette given the restaurants in this area Berlin, but it was... More

As has been stated by other reviews the rooms are large, the location is great for access to shopping and u bahn. We flew into schonefeld airport and the airport express trains went to the berlin zoologisher garten station which is a 10 min walk from hotel. The breakfast And service was fantastic.

The hotel is in a great location, pretty much on the Kurfuerstendamm which is the main shopping street for High Street shops. More importantly its also the beginning of the U-Bahn U1 subway. This line takes you to all the major stations. A short walk away you have the S5 & S7 lines at the Savignyplatz station. And a short... More

All staff members (exceptions mentioned below) have been very hospitable, helpful, and welcoming; especially the breakfast ladies, seldom we have seen such prudent and nimble as well as friendly personnel in the hotel business. Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
