A very accomdating staff, room quite comfortable and large. Pristine bathroom with wonderful shower. Air-conditioning was great. Quiet at night and we reserved parking in the courtyard, which was very convenient. Breakfast very good, just had to ask for a carafe of coffee. Offered us an umbrella on a rainy day!

We stayed at Hecker's Hotel for three nights in June and were impressed by their outstanding front desk service. All requests were handled in an efficient, friendly manner. Large size, very quiet spotlessly clean room with updated bathroom, fridge, fresh flowers and comfortable bed. Convenient, delicious room service dinner from their lobby restaurant. Handy to many restaurants and a hop,... More

Good hotel in a safe and enjoyable area. Room was a bit dated but was perfectly fine for a short stay. Bathroom was big, modern and well equipped. Didn’t use the lobby bar, in fact didn’t see anyone use it! Breakfast was basic but acceptable continental style fayre. Really like the area and convenience for U-Bahn, S-Bahn and buses. Plenty... Clean and smartly furnished hotel with good sized rooms. Including acwalkin wardrobe area. Helpful staff who were very understanding when our flight was cancelled and we arrived a day late. Well placed for the Ku'damm and buses and u bahn on the door stop. Great continental breakfast. Would revisit this hotel again and recommend it to others. Veilen danke

We stayed in 9 hotels during our European trip, and this was easily the best! Huge rooms with comfortable beds (best sleep we had during our trip). Little touches like doorbells and blackout curtains made all the difference. Clean and well maintained. Located just off Ku'damm, close to an S-bahn station, as well as U-bahn (which we didn't use) and... More

would have given a four had it not been for surly almost aggressive receptionists. efficient but no smile or warmth (slim dark haired girl excepted). good sized clean fit for purpose room with good area to store bags and clothes. bathroom also clean and had good shower. breakfast in morning was more than adequate but a bit crushed when more... Everything I have to say about this hotel is positive! If I absolutely MUST find anything that wasn't perfect it woud be that the breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs with bacon and MEATBALLS - instead of sausages. ...but hey - who cares, really? I love Berlin, and I can assure that I will be staying at Hecker's hotel every single... More

We could not believe the quality of the hotel for the price we paid. The rooms are modern large and very comfortable with fantastic bathrooms. Location is great with Ubahn 3minutes walk & SBahn (one change to airport) 5 minutes. Try the terrific restaurant next door to the hotel. There is also a great selection of bars and restaurant at... Friendly staff. Huge rooms! Good value if you book far enough in advance. Just off Ku'damm. Loads of places to eat round Savignyplatz. Definitely would go back. Tip... go to the 5th floor there's a wee roof terrace to sit and sunbathe and you can phone the bar and they'll bring drinks!

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
