Stayed for four nights and found the room to be comfortable, if a little hot but borrowed a fan from the reception and that was sorted. The room was modern and simple with a great bathroom and big wardrobe. Situated in a lovely town with easy access to the bus stop to the Zoo Gardens and a ten minute walk... More

First off ,very easy to get to from schoenfeld airport, there are 2 express trains to charlottenburg and the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the station. We were given a room on the first floor at the front which was a really nice size with all the amenities you would expect. There was no air conditioning but... More

Located in the heart of activity. Shopping, restaurants, fitness centers. The rooms are small but were clean and new. The staff were friendly, their English could have been better but it worked. Breakfast was delicious.

I only spent there one night - but I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was big and clean, with all the necessities. The breakfast is very good, and the neighbourhood (U Wilhelmsdorfer) has a lot to offer - if you in too shopping but not in the crowded areas of the city, or a good Asian restaurant -... More

We planned a trip to Berlin at the very last minute and thus the booking was also last minute. On a Wednesday night we decided ongoing to Berlin on the Thursday, leaving southern Sweden around noon and arriving in Berlin late afternoon/early evening. We booked via a service attached to a shopping card in Sweden. Arriving from the northwest using... More

This is a clean well equipped hotel in a very convenient location for visiting Berlin. There is an underground station round the corner (U bahn) and an S-bahn a little further about 3 minutes walk away. Buses also stop near the hotel in Kant Strasse to take you to nearby sights. It would also be possible to walk to the... More

Some of the hotel staff were rude S Weiss shift manager and trainee reception not very helpful either, not sure if it was because we complained about room. Breakfast was... More

I know this area pretty good and prefer to stay around here or in Mitte. There´s a lot of great and interesting restaurants in Charlottenburg, so it´s nice to stay here. I was very surprised when I checked in. The room was very delicate and modern. Seemed to be refurbished recently. Better than I could expect, especially considering the low... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
