Nice hotel. Room rate was very good, only €125 which for a city centre German hotel is good. Breakfast was expensive @ €26. The layout of the breakfast room was frustrating, difficult to fine what I was looking for. Barmaid in the Gin room was very unfriendly.

It looks and feels like your usual high class business hotel but the view on the Berlin zoo across the road from my room was stunning. Breakfast is excellent, the Michelin starred restaurant "first floor" seemed very attractive but was booked fully during my stay, so make reservations with your room! I have to say the staff in reception was... More

We arrived to the hotel well before our allocated check in time, but the lady on the reception did everything she could to find us a room that was available to check in to early at no additional cost, and even upgraded our room two categories as it was my partners birthday! The room and bathroom were large and clean,... More

Close to everything-good for everyone. Private or business trip. Opposite entrance to the Zoo, opposite Bikini with the great Italian restaurant L'Osteria and roof top restaurant and bar in the 25hrs hotel. Just a stone throw (long one) from KaDeWe and shopping. Very good valur for money with friendly staff and excellent breakfast buffet!

We stayed here for 3 nights and in the city centre for another 2 nights . This hotel is near the Zoo and Tier Garten . The rooms are large , beds and pillows excellent as are the large bathrooms . Breakfast is superb and served until 2pm on a Sunday . The Gin bar is fantastic with the largest... More

I stayed here as part of a conference. Check in was smooth and efficient as expected of a hotel of this class. The rooms are quite small and a bit cramped. Breakfast had a great spread. The subway is nearby and there are quite a few eateries nearby too .

First of all the room itself was massive with really pleasant decor. In general the state of upkeep was super. Breakfast choice was wide so something good for everyone. The conference rate at 139€ was a real steal. So what was not so good? Unstable wifi. Unstable digital TV- many channels very pixelated. General lack of electric sockets - compensated... More

The hotel Palace is huge, I mean HUGE!!! from outside it doesn't look like it and the rooms?? Bigger than my flat! If you want to stay somewhere luxurious, I recommend this place. the breakfast is very good too.

I am currently staying in this hotel and what can I say? If this is a 5 star hotel then I am Angelina Jolie... it's the biggest joke of the century. My so called business deluxe room is lime green... no joke. Something out of a 1970s bad porno. It is spacious... the shower is terrible. I am convinced that... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
