Service was superb as was the spa and swimming pool. Staff very alert, friendly. Conveniently located in the Kudam area with great transportation and access. If you like gin - the hotel has the best bar you can imagine.

Booked this for our 25th wedding. Room was big and huge bathroom. Room was very dated but the service made our stay very good. They decorated the room with roses and we got an bottle of pink bubbles in our room delivered. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were very friendly. Nice little pool. Location was perfect. This hotel has a terrible facade, but after you step inside it's much better. The newly renovated rooms are good, and have a pleasant design. The location is excellent, with only a couple of hundred meters to everything around Ku'damm. Sadly the hotel falls flat on it's face regarding service. Berlin has become one of the best hotel cities of... More

Very good business hotel for an acceptable price. I stayed here three nights for a business conference. Everything goes very smooth and correct. Rooms are nice (some elements in the bathroom could use some refurbishment however, like the tap), service is good (tear down, newspaper in the morning,...). Breakfast is very extended ; the organisation of the breakfast could be... More

I booked my stay quite last minuet through a package holiday site and got a really good deal. Me and my partner had never visited Berlin before and completely didn't know what to expect. We was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived ! The hotel was right next to all the high street shops and a very short walk up... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while on a business conference there. At the end of the stay I moved to another hotel in Berlin with friends. While the location of this hotel is good for the shops I would say that there are others that are better located for sightseeing. The room was nice but was very... More

On arrival we were upgraded to the premium floor, simply by being in a party who booked three rooms. The room was very well equipped, including free plug adapters, extensive toiletries, plenty of information about Berlin and colour-controlled lighting. The location is great, just across the road from the Zoologischer Garten, with lots of restaurants and bus routes nearby. The... More

The room was quiet big and clean, amazing bed that provides a comfortable welcome after a long walking day. Very good location just beside the 100 and 200 bus lines, and the zoo U and S lines. 2 minutes of walking from the Kudam shopping street. The stuff are very nice an ready to help, we received anything that we... More

This was our first time in Berlin and we travelled in December 2015 for the Christmas markets. 1st class hotel, with brilliant facilities, the house of Gin is a must visit (although quite pricey) would definitely return. The staff couldn't do more for you and the breakfast was excellent!

I stayed in this hotel in Nov 2015 with my wife. The price level for the 5 star rating is what attracted me. I would definitely say this property is 5 star. It had a very comfortable room with plenty of space. There would be a "turn down" service every night where room service comes and fluffs your pillows and... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
