Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Just moments from the Berlin Zoo and the Kurfürstendamm. Check in was simple and the staff were polite and friendly. The rooms were clean and modern and the designer toiletries were an added bonus. The beds were super comfy although my only dislike was with the pillows, they were too thin for my... More

Had a great visit and enjoyed the stay. Very welcoming lobby with friendly reception and concierge. Room was at par with expectations of a five star and friendly house keeping staff. Biggest surprise was the spa area and pool where they have really made an effort to make it great unlike a namesake add on in most city hotels of... More

The Hotel in itself is located perfectly both for travellers whom enjoy the convenience of public transport and for those who enjoy exploring by foot. The staff was very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The only bad things we experiences was the spa, which we found to be more of a swimming pool and a... More

Great location, lovely hotel. It is across from the zoo entrance, a short walk to buses, trains, underground, walking tours, etc. The meals in the hotel are expensive, there are many many places to eat, shop, rent bikes, etc. we appreciated the air conditioning, the use of the printer for boarding passes and the free internet throughout the hotel. We... More

Clean hotel with excellent good sized rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. We had an excellent buffet style breakfast but with one minor downside - the so called hot items were only lukewarm. Our original allocated room had very little clothes storage but after talking to the front desk, we were moved to another room which was perfect.

Handy for all of the shops and restaurants and right opposite the Zoo ! Best features are the Gin Bar and the Restaurant. Great place for a romantic birthday weekend treat. Berlin is fascinating Tony and I loved it.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
