Well located on a quiet street in Friedrichshain, easy walk to S-Bahn, U-Bahn and Tram on Warschauer St. Neighborhood has a lot to offer in the way of shops, restaurants, cafes. Felt very safe. Not the cheapest hotel you can find in Berlin, but you get a real classy hotel located in a great area just next to Warschauer Strasse station. Its also located a walking distance from Revaler Strasse, a street filled with pubs and restaurants open all night long. Close to the S bahn station and walking distance from a lot of good pubs, and east end gallery. Not too far from Alexanderplatz. the breakfast was very good, free internet in the lobby area. We used this for a few meetings and the conference facilities were good as well. Car parking is also available. More

There's not a lot I can add to what other reviewers have said about the Upstalsboom Berlin. It's typical of a 4 star German hotel - clean, compact, efficient and serves an excellent buffet breakfast. We stayed in this 4* hotel in one of its family rooms and it did not let us down! The room was huge and still had plenty of room for a "living room area". The breakfasts are fab, with as much choice as one could wish for. They even had Earl Grey Tea! The only bad thing about this hotel... More
