Clean, nice hotel in a nice area. Friendly staff, quiet, yet very close to the action and Kudamm and all shops, restaurants, cafées. Close to the U-bahn as well, nearest one just 100 m away. We would gladly stay here again and I think we will return within quite a near future. Also, I forgot my Ipad in the room... More

Modern hotel with very good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Coffe- and tea facilities in the room. Kurfürstendamm just around the corner and a lot of cafées and restaurant in the neighborhood. One of Europes largest department store KaDeWe one block away with its very famous gourmet department.

Excellent location and love the area. Would consider staying again on next visit to Berlin. Room Rate was very expensive for standard of room but understand this was due to Tourist Board Convention going on at same time.

Had booked from Southend Airport, good journey. If you can get the train to the main Zoo station, it will cost you about 4 Euros, where as a cab will cost you between 30-50! Hotel great value for money, warm, clean and bright. Good flat screen telly, fridge and drink making facilities. Stones throw away from under ground, buses and... More

What a great find in the centre of Berlin. Had a 6th floor room on the front and were lucky enough to get one of the 12 (I think) shared balcony rooms. Only issue was room was too hot considering how cold it was outside but I would be complaining more if it was too cold. Yes, like any other... More

Stayed here last month for 4 nights, the location of the hotel is great, close to the Zoo station which isn't too far from the airport. Great transport links around however me and my partner walk a lot so we never used public transport other than the trip to the airport and was absolutely fine to walk to the centre... More

Bath room is a little bit outdated, room is clean. Free wifi in room is very slow. You can pay for premium wifi (faster). A little bit noisy outside. Is due to a cafe across the street. Nice hotel for a few days stay. It's near Kudamm where you can find many shops and brands.

Great price but the beat of the music from the maximum club across the road can literally be felt in your room. If you are a light sleeper I would not recommend this hotel. Also the bathroom suffered from the smell of sewage the entire stay! The staff are lovely though, good hotel bar and big bed. If you are... More

We paid £115 for 4 nights so expectations were not particularly high but we were more than impressed! Warm (which was a relief because it was freezing outside) and comfortable - everything we needed for a city break. Great location near Zoo-station on S-bahn and Kurfustendam on U-bahn. Free wifi too. We sat in the bar each evening for our... More

We stayed in December 2014 as part of our first trip to Berlin. The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk of the Zoologischer train station and also has an underground station close by. It was easy to find the hotel and when we arrived check-in was a breeze. The staff were knowledgable and very helpful. The room was nicely... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
