The room was very nice: spacious and clean. But it was incredibly loud! My two daughters and I could hear the U-Bahn (even on the 5th floor) and the street. We even felt the rumble of the U-Bahn! When I spoke to the woman at the reception desk, she seemed skeptical that we could hear and feel the U-Bahn: but... More

The best thing is the location. The room and bathroom were really clean. The price was also good. Breakfast was average but the good thing was that it was included in the room package along with wi-fi free of cost. If you want to stay in the west side of Berlin i'd recommend this hotel.

Was visiting Berlin last week and decided to stay at this hotel. Every part of the city is reachable since the U-Bahn(Underground) is just in front of the hotel. Prices are reasonable. I payed 83€ for the room which was located on the back (garden) plus it included breakfast and free wifi which i didn't end up using after all... More

Stayed 1 night. Rooms a bit dated, but functional. Parking lot tight for anything larger than a compact, but seemed to be plenty of free street parking if staying on the weekend. U-Bahn right across the street. Easy 15 minute walk to Kurfurstendamm. Good breakfast, but not quite up the the Ibis Styles level I expected; just brewed coffee (very... More

Fairly central place, well served with the U-bahn. Furniture rather simple, from the Styles line I would expect more. Bathroom with a bathtub - I prefer shower. Comfortable beds, but no air conditioning. In a room on the street side this is a problem: with windows open it gets very loud, when shut it gets stuffy. Expensive private parking with... More

I arrived after midnight to the hotel. The receptionist was polite and quick. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The on suite is a little cramped and dated but in good working order. The breakfast was good in general but unlike previous visits the water boiler has gone with just a flask of luke warm water left to make... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
