Hotel is in a good location, right across from the U2 U bahn stop. It is an older hotel which has been kept in very good condition. The rooms reflect the opera period with a musical motif and the furniture represents an era gone by, a very nice added touch. The room was fairly large, very comfortable bed and very... More

I really liked this hotel. The staff is very friendly! everyone I met was very nice starting with the young woman who gave me an upgrade because I checked in at 12:20 (official check-in time was 15:00) and my room was not available. The room was nice too, WiFi was good, room (at the back of the hotel) was quiet.... More

Excellent, clean hotel, friendly staff, good value, free wifi (although needed multiple pass codes for five day conference stay). Located a few metres from Deutsche Oper U Bahn station and two stops from Zoo. Elegantly appointed room with theatrical theme. Breakfast from 6.30 am.

I enjoyed my stay at this nice hotel. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was fine. The Service was also very good. The hotel is situated near metro stations, supermarkets and restaurants. I was able to reach easily many famous places in Berlin using different public transports.

We came to Berlin to see an opera at Deutsche Oper Berlin, so this hotel is perfect for us location-wise. if you visit Berlin to explore the city, I think this hotel is great too. There is a metro station just right in front of this hotel. The room that we had was non air-condotioned, but we didn't have any... More

The hotel is located close to a subway station which means you have easy access to explore the city. There is also a Lidl Supermarket within walking distance and several small restaurants with fair prices. The hotel itself is nice and clean but there is no aircon and I guess it can be pretty hot when the temperature is exceeds... More

Stayed for 2 nights in two rooms with our children. Check-in was fast. Car park was 10 € pr day. Parking behind the hotel, you need to walk down from the car park with your luggage. Room was clean. Bathroom very small. Breakfast was basic but ok. There was no air-con in the rooms. With a temperature outside at 30-33... More

Made reservations by email, and at our arrival everything was correct, as well as the helpful information to move from the airport to the hotel. Rooms are small, but just find for a queen bed; bathroom , hot water,TV, mini-bar (paying what you use). There is wi-fi but it didn’t work very well at the room; but it worked fine... More

Nice quality hotel in Ibis Style line. Located near Deutscher Oper, U12 metro line on Bismarkstrasse. Nice rooms, small size, but very functional. I had a room on the upper floor which saved a lot of noice down the street. No A/C, but open window helps. Shower was so small, that it's hard to walk around. Breakfast is nice, good... More

Typical of ibis hotels. Minimal facilities , good breakfast, good room, good accessibility to metro ( the u-bahn station doesnt have elevators . So, moving with luggage will be a bit dificult ) . One more facility that I would have liked in this hotel is an electric kettle. That was the only missing point. Supermarket nearby, couple of good... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
