Mycket wife is slightly handcapped - walks with a rollator but only short distances. Ibis Styles an der Oper is located 200 meters from Deutsche Oper which se managed. The hotel is proper, well managed with 24 hour service and a good breakfeast. Recommended

Located outside U bahn Opera station which is a couple of stops from Zoological Garden DBahn station and also only 3 stops from the ICC exhibition so great if you are attending a Trade fair I stayed 2 nights. Reception welcoming. Rooms fine, nothing exceptional but perfect for my stay, little dated but with some attempts to modernise. Ensuite bathroom,... More

At very short notice I was looking for a centrally located accommodation and found this Ibis Hotel.Very helpful staff. Whilst the decor was unusual - the room was very clean and comfortable. There was a minibar, but I would have preferred a tea & coffee making tray. Still, I don't think the price for bed & superb breakfast could be... More

My sister, mum, 3 year old daughter and I stayed here in November to visit the xmas markets in Berlin. We chose this hotel for it's location (we wanted to stay near alexanderplatz) and because it offered family rooms. On arrival, we were quick to spot that not only was it very modern but that it was absolutely spotless!! The... More

I came back to the Ibis Styles an Der Oper with my wife on this trip because I had been very happy with my last stay here a couple of years ago. As before, the staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is nicely turned out with everything clean and tidy. The room was of a good size and everything... More

The room was very nice: spacious and clean. But it was incredibly loud! My two daughters and I could hear the U-Bahn (even on the 5th floor) and the street. We even felt the rumble of the U-Bahn! When I spoke to the woman at the reception desk, she seemed skeptical that we could hear and feel the U-Bahn: but... More

The best thing is the location. The room and bathroom were really clean. The price was also good. Breakfast was average but the good thing was that it was included in the room package along with wi-fi free of cost. If you want to stay in the west side of Berlin i'd recommend this hotel.

Was visiting Berlin last week and decided to stay at this hotel. Every part of the city is reachable since the U-Bahn(Underground) is just in front of the hotel. Prices are reasonable. I payed 83€ for the room which was located on the back (garden) plus it included breakfast and free wifi which i didn't end up using after all... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
