The rooms are large with a kingsize bed , balcony. and a very modern shower and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is generous with a large choice to suit all tastes.Staff is courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. There is a supermarket right next door and a large drug store and C & A clothing opposite. There is wi-fi but no... More

This hotel was comfortable and provided a plentiful continental breakfast. It is right next door to the underground and there are buses stopping right outside to get to the centre of Berlin quite quickly. It can be done on foot through the Tiergarten although it is still quite a walk. There are some good restaurants within easy walking distance which... More

This hotel provides all the facilities that could be expected of an hotel. The location is handy for the underground and bus services for Tegel airport and Kurfurstendam and Alexander Platz. The Staff are friendly and helpful and in particular the Reception staff make you welcome and help you when there is a query. The rooms are provided with all... More

This hotel suited my needs for a short business trip to the city, the rooms were spacious enough and kept clean. Bathroom was adequate. Location not an issue all the sights a short taxi ride. The front rooms can be a little noisy due to traffic in the day however it was not noticeable at night.

I took the train from Frankfurt to Berlin Central and walked to the hotel on Alt Moabit. In normal circumstances it is an easy walk, however with the suitcase and the cobble style pavements not really conducive to this. I had a nice room on the fifth floor overlooking the Main Street and park, it had a nice large balcony... More

The facilities are very good. Good breakfast. Location is excellent when flying to and from Tegel Airport. Bus TXL stops in front of the hotel and Metro "Turmstrasse" is approx. 50 m away. I can recommend.

Average hotel but great location (bus and metro stations directly at the entrance) Breakfast was good Rooms were very hot (January) and we couldn't turn the hot air down You have to take your suitcases on 20 stairs before arriving to the elevator or reception, so not very convenient for people with back aches problem or handicaps

Better than expected for the money, I was on the 7th floor and didn't hear any noise even though I was on a busy street. It is very close to the main train station and Tegel airport, both of which can be reached with the same TXL bus. It's also on the U9 line of the Ubahn, which can connect... More

Park Consul is very well located, close to subway station, bus stop, including the airport bus that stops infront of the hotel. The room with garden with (more expensive) is quiet big, but unfortunatelly there is no air conditioner. When I was there was extremelly hot in Berlin, and there is nothing to do to solve this problem. A big... More

We stayed one night at this hotel. It was convenient and at a reasonable price. It is a bit strange though. The reception is on the 1st floor so there are stairs to get to the elevator on floor 0. Not super convenient with luggage. The room was nice and even had a little balcony with a table and chairs.... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
