Stayed here with friends. Staff were absolutely brilliant from start to fini, from the manager to the reception staff . Nohing was too much trouble, from finding out train times to organising the best hot chocolate my wife has ever tasted! It is centrally located. It oozes old world charm. It is extremely cozy and the adjacent Times Bar is... More

This is an older hotel but looks very nice. It is convenient to many shops, bus stops and restaurants. It has a restaurant within the hotel, but we never ate there to save money. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke English well. We stayed here in the winter and were never cold inside the hotel. Our room had... More

We found this hotel on Expedia set within the heart of Berlin it offers excellent accommodation, good location and friendly staff. Even though we decided to eat in the city the restaurant looked inviting and value for money. If you want a comfortable nights sleep in a good location then this is it. Just could do with tea & coffee... More

This cosy and luxurous hotel gives you a feeling of being home while being abroad. You are a person here, not a number. A lot of extra's are provided if you wish, helpful staff. Good nights in quiet surroundings, and if you wish a bed with a roof!

excellent and attentive service, even at night (we arrived really late..), rooms are at the edge of becoming old but still ok...if you like a traditional style and a house with lots of history and atmosphere, not too big in the former Western part, it's a place to return to...thank you for another pleasant stay!

The superior room is good w/ newly renovated bathroom. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast ist highly recommended. So much to choose from. We watched a musical in Theater des Westens. Just a short walk from the hotel. Shopping in Ku'damm is also very near. Perfect hotel for a short trip in Berlin. Very charming hotel.

Me and my wife had a very bad experience of this hotel. I have had high thoughts about German standard and a four star hotel, but I´m wrong. The hotel is a bad joke, a standard you wouldn´t expect from a Savoy hotel that the call superior. A smell of smoke meets you in the lobby. The whole hotel have... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
