Public transportation right next to the hotel. Nice bedroom, very clean. Helpful staff, although not particularly warm (Berlin way, that is ;)). Very good breakfast, but sometimes you have to wait to be seated.

Stayed here on a business trip for 3 night. Had a double room which was in the small side but perfectly functional and a very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff, great cold buffet breakfast and coffee & tea available 24/7. Wifi speed was amazing at about 40mbps and it is free. Location is great with a tram stop and metro... More

The hotel is located in a great location that has easy access to the public transport. The welcome card we purchased allowed us to use any public transport, which made it very convenient. There was free breakfast in the morning and free hot drinks throughout the day until 10pm. The room was good for the price with separate toilet and... More

This was an excellent hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect with an underground station literally just outside the front door. There are also plenty of great places to eat nearby. The bed was very comfortable (as all Ibis beds seem to be) and the room was quite comfortable. The bathroom situation in... More

We stayed here for 4 nights, the room and service were top class. Room is modern with a flat screen tv and comfy bed, shower is on view to the rest of the room but that wasn't really a problem. Also free wifi in the rooms. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The lobby/breakfast area are nicely decorated with cool... More

Small room with no closets? It is strange not to be able to put your washing/toothbrush material in a closet. I'm not used to that ;-). The room is very clean and trendy. For breakfast I miss the scrambled eggs... No warm breakfast. So I missed some things but I also don't have any real complaints. It's just a little... More

Lovely place. Cheap. Tiny room 708. Nowhere to hang towels. Glass shower on view to rest of room. Aircondo not working. But can open window. Noisy with window open. Very tight for 2 people. Clean and basics supplied. Great bed abd feather pillows. Suggest upgrade to suite eg 709 which has great view and room to swing a few cats.... More

I really liked the style and decor of this hotel. I had paid extra for a larger bed and was very pleased with the size of the room. The hotel also offers some good facilities, particularly the free wifi, which worked brilliantly in our room. There was also a hairdryer in the room, which I would not normally expect from... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
