Located in a fabulous area in an older building that should be full of charm. But it is spoilt by poorly furnished rooms with cheap old pine furniture. The smell of cigarette smoke from the staff, who smoke near the stairs outside reception, permeates the entire building. WiFi was supposed to be available in all areas but on check-in we... More

I recently stayed here for 4 nights, and was very impressed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The facilities are fairly basic - but consistent with the very reasonable price. It's also in a great location, just 3 or 4 minutes walk from KuDamm and the nearest U-Bahn station.... More

Stayed here recently on a group trip, 6 of us. We were made very welcome, the rooms were lovely, bright and clean. Very good breakfast too. It's excellent value for money, so central too. There are very few places like this left in Berlin, in fact in any big city. Family run, I would say they welcome back regulars year... More

I have been staying with this little cute homey hotel-pension for 3 ITBs in Berlin. Bernd and team are kind and great always. Good location, valued for money, big rooms, reasonable breakfast. I would happily recommend for either business or leisure trip.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
