The hotel is not more than a Premier Inn and at present there are building works on both sides and the road is being dug up in August. It's also away from the tourist areas, you need a Berlin card to use the underground station nearby. There was also dust under our bed and free in-room wi-fi is limited. We... More

I have stayed in this hotel for one night. The lobby and room are modern designed. There is spacious saunna and a good gym. The breakfast is great. Good assortiment of food variety. Perfect service at the front desk.

This hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Only thing missing is free limitlesd wifi; for internet surfing the free one is enough but for downloading pictures etc its not. Our room was in third floor and even though there was a road next to our window it was very quiet. Metro station is around 100m walk and few restaurants... More

We were very happy with our stay here. It was clean, the room was nicely decorated. We got a family room with bunk beds as we were traveling with our 8 year old. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings had all that we needed and room to store our luggage in the room. The bathroom was clean and modern, as... More

We stayed last week for 2 nights for a city break from the UK. So our aim wasnt really to spend time within the hotel. The bar and reception areas are very cool and modern. Trendy hotel. The rooms more basic but perfectly adequate and very clean. Fantastic price for 2 nights..... We didnt have breakfast within the hotel as... More

I stayed here with a friend back in February so that we could explore Berlin. The hotel was fabulous, very modern but had everything you'd need in a room. It was extremely clean and well presented and was in a good area close to public transport. We also found some lovely restaurants down the street, they took us a while... More

We stayed here for three nights with my husband. We arrived very early (at ten o'clock) but got our room straight away when we joined hotel's membership program. And as a very pleasant surprise our room got upgrated as well and totally free of charge! Our room was in the second floor facing the road but no noise came inside.... More

This hotel is outstanding for the price. I booked directly through their website and received a great rate on a 'Tryp' room for four nights at the beginning of August. This worked out at £140 for four nights, plus 10 euros a day to spend in the bar etc. This meant we had at least one drink in the bar... More

I travelled to Tryp with my mother for a city break and her birthday and i requested a twin room- i was surprised that apart from that we got a complimentary upgrade- very nice of them. However the fan in the bathroom was so noisy it was impossible to rest and the coffee machine, however complimentary, was not working either.... More

This is a well located hotel - just a short walk from some interesting attractions. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and some good additional features, such as a gym and sauna (which we were too busy to find time to use in the end!) The hotel rooms were clean and quiet. All in all a pleasant stay.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
