I stayed here with my husband before Christmas. The hotel is lovely. We stayed in a premium room and we've never seen such a big bed, even in American hotels! The room was clean and although there wasn't a bath, the shower was big and modern. The breakfast was also lovely with a large range of food: cereal, toast, pastries,... More

Large room, good shower, very clean. Nice bed, I did need an extra pillow but they quickly got me one. Good access to the wifi from the room, although there is a limit with the receipt they give you but you can have more than one. Breakfast was very nice and filled me up for most of the day. staff... I had little provlem with the coffee machine that was resolved efficiantly.and i liked the nice lobby and the bar, and most of all the friendliness and serviae of the stuff. Two moans about this hotel: 1. The 'free' internet is so slow you'd have to wait hours just to look up where to go or what to do in the city so we ended up paying for the 'fast' one. It's only 5 euros a day but they shouldn't really be allowed to advertise free internet when it doesn't even... More

I stayed here for 5 nights with my sister recently and overall we were very happy with the hotel. The beds were very comfy and relatively large for twin size, and we loved the jelly sheep sweets that we found on the beds in place of the usual chocolate. The only issue we had with the room was the lack... More

Excellent location of this modern hotel, very close to a U station and a 5 minute walk to an S station. Rooms were spacious, contemporary and clean. Very comfortable bed and amazing shower provided an excellent base for my travels in Berlin. Nice touch by hotel in providing a complimentary treat bedside each day :). Only slight downside would be... More

There are many things that are OK in this hotel: very handy location (specially when the next door construction sites are finished and the street is clear), room size acceptable, bed quite good, shower cube spacious. But little by little you notice details, none of them drastic but there are plenty of them, that in my mind do not match... More

The hotel is located near the nature museum just near a U6 station so it is very good base to explore the city. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are big and the bed is good. The service is very good and the reception desk are there anytime you just need them.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
