We had a three night stay here over Easter. Room was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is In aresidential area, cost us €11 to get a taxi into town, although the trains are close, and require a change of trains to get to the city. Reception is on the second floor and no signs until you get in the... More

We've visited this hotel from the 1st of April till the 6th of April. The room was very clean, big and very friendly stuff. Esp. Phillip from the reception. The u-bahn is just 50 meters away. The hotel is located inside a mall with a Hugh supermarket below. I've been to many hotels in Berlin but this hotel is the... More

This is a good hotel close to the U bhan and other transport links, it has a strange entrance to get into it, but has a nice, large hotel lobby, the staff were helpful and pleasant. We shared a room for 3 people and the room was nice, had a safe and everything else you would expect. The bathroom also... More

We'd been up since 2.30 am due to an early flight so we were really tired and were not impressed when we were presented with a letter (which I have attached) when we checked in that said there was a potentially noisy function on in the 'hall of events' (the hotel foyer) until 2.00am and it asked for our 'understanding'... Just recently stayed at the Best Western Moa in Berlin. It was my first visit to Germany and was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel sits slightly out of town but travellers do not be put off by this, the train system is on the doorstep and travel around the city is sooo easy!! The hotel has excellent reception staff... My wife and I stayed here over Easter weekend for three nights. The hotel staff were excellent, very welcoming reception and friendly in the bar. The room was large, well equipped and quiet, we've not slept so well for years !! Close to a supermarket U Bahn station, restaurants and more. Great weekend.

Ok hotel with a bit pricy breakfast and therefore we didn't have breakfast. Big market under the hotel to by some food and snacks. Good local restaurants close by. Hotel rooms were good in size but it felt really moist in the rooms. If you are going to the gym, you need to bring gym shows with you!

The hotel was good (comfortable room, nice breakfast) but for two problems. The lighting in the room was very poor and the temperature control was non existent, with the temp constantly about 27 degrees C. So although our family of 4 had comfortable beds, we all had very restless nights because of the heat.

I stayed here last October for 3 nights. I booked a standard twin room which was very clean and spacious. There was also complimentary bottled water and fruit in the room on arrival which was a nice touch after a long journey. Our room was facing the Main Street, but was still very quiet. The supermarket underneath the hotel is... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
