After arriving very late, due to flight delays, we were greeted by friendly staff. Although I ordered a "standard" room we were shocked by the poor quality of it. It was very small with dated, worn furniture. We phoned to reception to ask to change room who were helpful and came up to show us a number of other rooms,... more

Room had little, if any, air conditioning or circulation-way below what is typical European AC. (Same in the other two rooms occupied by our group) Good thing the window opened, otherwise would not been bearable. Management said one of their two air compressors was not working. Strongly suggest you verify that this has been corrected before visiting. Maitre d in... more

We found the Kempinski Bristol a very good choice. We started by getting an upgrade, and found the room well appointed and a good size. Corridors a bit bare but who's going to spend their holiday in a corridor? The staff were all very friendly, beyond the cause of duty, and although we only had two bar meals they were... more

This was a great choice of hotel. Good shopping, eating and drinking ( recommend the BeerSaloon on Kurstorfendam ) and early transport to the ICC and East side of city. Good pool but small gym area. more

Pros: well located, helpful staff, not outrageously priced. Cons: -- Rooms were tiny and cramped. The chair could not pull out completely from the table because it hit the bed. You have to almost crawl around the room it is so tight. -- Bathrooms smelled. The air vents for the water drainage system are in the floor so there is... more

We stayed at the Kimpinski for three nights in mid September, 2008. The hotel rooms were nice, a bit old fashioned, but we found that charming. They were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast came with our room and it couldn't have been more delicious. The location is wonderful in the midst of the shopping boulevard. The pool and health... more

Well, we have some mixed feelings about it. We spent 3 days in thi hotel. Booked on a hotel website for a junior suite including breakfast. The hotel is 5 star but semed to be a little bit cheaper than some other 5 star hotels in the centre of Berlin. Stayed in Kempinski hotel in Dresden last year and absolutely... more

The location was fantastic, right on Kudamm. The breakfast was amazing. The staff OK. Bur the room was too small. I had expected a bigger room at this hotel. more
