I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights last week. Jan 2 - Jan 6. I have to say that this hotel was pretty good. I am a solo traveler so I booked a single room. The room was small but I didn't need much space. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The only problems were, the WIFI... More

The location is very convenient for exploring Berlin, just opposite the train station and a few minutes walk from the underground station. We booked a family room which was vey spacious and lovely decorated. The bathroom was very small and old and the fan was funny and noisy. Not all the staff was polite and helpful but in general no... Don't be fooled by the hotel's photos, the rooms in the hotel are extremely small. Having said that they are comfortable and well thought out. The shower rooms are also small but perfectly adequate and clean. We were happy with our stay and the hotel is really well located for a sightseeing visit, although we noticed that a lot of... More

a problem with our flight meant we needed a room for one night. 2 adults and 3 children. The room was booked for us at the Tegal airport for the price of £125. The room was very clean and spacious, good comfortable beds. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location good with excellent transport links, including buses S Bahn. The hotel... More

I was in Berlin for a conference and stayed in Art Hotel Charlottenburger Hof for a week. Although my receipts says double bed room, it was a single bed and the room was extremely small. Bring your own shampoo and showering gel since the one in the hotel is of low quality. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms so it... More

This hotel is perfectly located just across the road from Charlottenburg station (S-bahn to central station and centre) and about 100 metres from the U-bahn station Wilmersdorfer Strasse! The area is nice and safe, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is very clean and our room was spacious and had a nice little balcony which we... More

Small but clean rooms. Free Wifi. Instant coffee, tea and fruit in the am. Across the street from the SBahn. Multiple Restaurants in the area. All rooms involve using stairs. Art throughout the hotel. Nice area for walking.

Very good value for money and location, situated opposite an S-Bahn Station and with bus links to Tegel airport outside. No need to take breakfast as the area is full of cafés and bakeries and the staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Certainly not the largest rooms (they reminded me of a typical budget hotel... More

This hotel is a nice place to stay for a couple of nights or so. I really like the location just off Stuttgarter Platz with some great spots to have breakfast or a nice beer and around the corner from the S-Bahn Charlottenburg. From there it is very easy to go in any direction. Still, the rooms are quiet and... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
