Our second visit to the art hotel. This time we have a room with high ceilings and a jacuzzi. The view of the city is great from the small private balcony. Nice Kandinsky(s) on the walls. Comfy chairs, wifi and a computer in the room! You may have to walk a few stairs because the lift stops on the landings... More

If you're looking for a great hotel in West Berlin, the Art Hotel is a great place to stay. Walking distance from UhlandStrasse Tube Station, which links directly onto all main lines. The Tube station is also on Kurfurstendam, great for shopping. The Art Hotel was very friendly with rooms a good size and excellent shower, very welcomed after walking... More

I choose Art-Hotel for my business travel during fair trades. Single room was not very "young", although it had everything what you needed. Well, maybe old comouters are not necesserary in XXI century. Hotel is really "artisitc", which I liked, but don;t expect luxury here. Staff was very nice and welcoming, you can even leave your lugguge safely with them... More

The temperature was +33 - +35c when I was there. It was too much. I was boiling. I don´t know how many showers I had but I used more water than ever. Elevator is also something new. It stopped in the half way of stairs so if you have a wheel chair or too old to run in steps choose... More

I stayed at this hotel with some business colleagues, as we were visiting a show at the Berlin Messe. It is ideally situated for that purpose, with the station just across the road. The hotel serves no meals, but has a well-equipped area for tea and coffee. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. I had a very small... More

I have slept at the Art hotel several times, both when I travel alone and when I travel with my wife. The hotel is spartan organize. Værelseren are clean and the service is fine. There are several good cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood.

I have been here quite ofton and it is one of my favourite places to stay in Berlin. The location is great: very close to S-Bahn Charlottenburg, many place to go and eat (especially at Stuttgarter Platz around the corner), and not far away from Zoo and Kudamm. I like to not stay in Mitte, and this is a nice... More

Stayed here during fruitlogistica messe, a very big tradeshow which means that in general it is difficult to get a hotelroom. We found the art-hotel and decided to book. I stayed in room #7 which is a room with 2 single beds, it is an economy room so nothing fancy, bed was ok, pillow was not. Room size was adequate,... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights last week. Jan 2 - Jan 6. I have to say that this hotel was pretty good. I am a solo traveler so I booked a single room. The room was small but I didn't need much space. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The only problems were, the WIFI... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
