Good value for money, very close to AlexanderPlatz. Single person in a doule room for 53€/ night in May sounds more than reasonible. Room for improvement: soap dispenser in shower instead of soap bar would make some people happier; clogged bathroom sink a bit unpleasant.

The first time we stayed in an Ibis Budget hotel was 2,5 years ago in Bruges, Belgium, so we knew what to expect and we were thrilled that we weren't disappointed! The rooms are standard, maybe a bit too standard (e.g. there is no fridge or toiletries), but who cares when they are spotlessly clean, functional, warm, with great wi-fi... More

I chose an Ibis Budget after excellent experience in Madrid last year. However, this Ibis Budget Hotel Alexanderplatz is not the same as Madrid Las Ventas. Simple, clean and fast at check in, but without the "spirit" of Spanish. The area where the hotel is located is being rebuilt, large abandoned buildings, renovations everywhere, even next to the hotel. A... More

It is a very nice and quiet hotel. Very clean, with a fun layout of the room. Enough space for a trip that you are out all day. They have rooms for smokers which is great!!!! The towels where very thin and it was very annoying. The location was too quiet if you want something more fun. Very kind staff... More

Why do you not have cereals (musli) without added sugar at any Ibis! Terrible sweet all the kinds you serve! Not good for the health! Everything else was good, and the garage very easy to find! We willcome back!

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
