Staying for a whole week at Stephan's apartments was an awesome experience by itself:))) Every year in February my husband and I bring a large group of our students to different cities in Europe to experience the culture, the food, the museums and the architecture of the European cities. So choosing the right accommodation for 20 people is always a... More

I stayed in BerlinLofts Mirror apartment with members of my family and friends when visiting Berlin for my uncle's birthday. On entering the apartment I was immediately struck by how big, clean and well furnished it was. The furniture and fittings including the two bathrooms were of very high quality and the host had also laid on a cot and... More

Excellent Acommodation! We were the first ones to stay in the newly constructed apartment. The location was very good, only 2-3 bus stops away from the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn transportation systems. Although we didn't - I would recommend renting a bike which Stephan also offers for a fair price, and riding to the nearest train stations, thus saving some... More

We stayed in a first floor apartment in the old stable building. This is a truly lovely spacious apartment - its only fault is that it is a bit over heated especially in one of the bathrooms. It has got lots of character and is extremely well equipped and has a good location. Undoubtedly I would like to stay here... More

We stayed in the Himmel over Berlin Loft for our three week stay in Berlin. It turned out to be our home away from home and as such it was in a fantastic location for use as a base to explore Berlin. Beautifully furnished it also has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and three bedrooms which meant that everyone... More

We just got back from a family trip to Berlin, We were accompanied by our twenty-something sons and their girlfriends. We had rented the ground floor stable apartment, which could not have been more perfect. It was comfortable, clean, and attractive. We never felt crowded. The kitchen had everything we could have needed and more. The bedrooms are basic, but... More

Berlin was cold and dark when we arrived, but thankfully we got a very warm welcome from Stephan and introduced into the ground floor apartment of the BerlinLofts. We enjoyed three queen size rooms and two bathrooms. The beds were unbelievably FANTASTIC and my mum said it was one of the best sleeps ever! The heating was superb and the... More

BerlinLofts is an excellent location - approx 15mins by bus (right outside the door) into the main railway station, with links to everywhere else in the city. Apartment itself is huge - 4 good double bedrooms and a great dining/sitting area with a fully equipped kitchen (wish I had as good at home!) Everything for a holiday or w.end break.... More

We (3 couples) rented the groundfloor apartment for one week over New Year's. It could not have been better: very tastefully furnished, absolutely perfectly equipped, centrally located, very friendly and helpful landlord. We would go again anytime!

This apartment is very modern with high ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It is quite charming. A bus stop 3 mins away takes you right into the train station from which you can use the U and S bahns, trains, or other buses to get wherever you might wish to go. Jan... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
