This was a great stay. It was a pretty far walk to the Mitte area which is the main tourist attraction. (About 45 minutes) But this area has great restaurants. It's about one block away from a very long strip of shops that you would find in american malls. The hotel was very clean, wonderful staff, and the free breakfast... More

Close to the s bahn, so only a quick walk from the station to the hotel (Savignyplatz is about 5 mins walk). The hotel is very comfortable with all the amenities one would expect, it is right next to the railway line, ideal for train spotters, perhaps less so for those who expect absolute quiet. I didn't find the noise... More

First time staying in Hampton by Hilton, it is vey nice, clean and efficient as you expect from business hotel. Breakfast is adequate, quite close to underground or bus station and the zoo. Also plenty restaurants nearby. Good price if book early. The free wifi is very good.

I took a one night stay in this Berlin property, previously unknown to me. The rooms and the service level were better than I expected and looks like my preconceived notion about this sub brand of the Hilton chain had been too low. The buffet breakfast offered nearly all the items of a "full buffet" and was far from a... More

An excellent stay, our third in this hotel. Comfortable, very clean, with an ample breakfast and friendly staff. This is a very convenient location for our purpose (visits to the operas). See our review, already written and posted on Tripadvisor. We will stay at this hotel again in the future.

Just to record that our third visit to this hotel was as comfortable and happy as previous stays. Unlike some other hotels we have gone back to, this one still seems to have its priorities in good order. As a special booster, we were allocated a room with a spacious terrasse (they even provided good weather instead of the usual... More

I stayed here recently for three nights with my boyfriend which we booked for his birthday. At first it was a little tricky to find the location - but I imagine it's because it was our first time in Berlin. The staff were extremely helpful and very happy to help with our room and giving us information. Our room was... More

The Hampton Inn Berlin is centrally located and just a few blocks away from the Berlin Zoo which can be used as a main transportation hub. The subway stop is a mere 3 blocks away but is hard to directionally describe so please ask the front desk. We found that line S75 either took us or intersected with lines that... More

A three night break with my sons and daughter in law, this hotel fitted the bill perfectly. A 10 minute walk from the railway station, it was warm and welcoming. Our rooms were very comfortable with modern fittings and furniture. A few more English channels on the TV would've been useful but we were out most of the time. Beds... More

Just a few minutes walk from the Zoo Bahnhof which has great linksby public transport, this was a great hotel to stay at. The reception staff - Katarina Wrusch especially - were very helpful and and ensured us an easy check-in into the hotel. Rooms were super - very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. Our room was next to the train... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
