Excellent location - 3 min. Walk from Alexanderplatz, a very central place with excellent u-bahn & s-bahn lines to everywhere. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free wifi in rooms and all public areas. Breakfast is excellent with a huge veraiety buffet. (I payd extra 30 euro p/p). Very good value for... More

Ramada is next to the TV-Tower in the former East Berlins' Alexander Platz. It is a modern hotel close to the U- and S-bahn and 10 minutes away from the popular Hackischer Markt with all the pubs, brauhauses and restaurants. Nice breakfast and no 10.00 o'clock "dictated" rule.

Spent two nights there (business trip). Had a regular 2 bed bedroom (street side, 2d floor). + : location (central) / comfortable bed / silent room / non smoking room could be improved: => staff level is not consistent. some are really great, service oriented, .... some behave as if you were almost nothing. they don't care as if they... Dear guest, Thank you for your critical feedback. As your Case was already discussed, the bag was placed directly on the trash bin, so our housekeeper thought it belongs in the trash. After we figured your case out, you recieved your bag, back. We kindly apologized for that. I apaologize again for this experience. We discussed in our team what... More

Positives: Stayed at this hotel for 2 night with my mom. Booked the junior suite and asked for an upgrade of the room as a present for my moms' birthday. We got a huge suite with a bedroom and a living room and 2 bathrooms. The suite was amazing. Also asked for a late checkout- paid 10 Euro for every... More

I found this hotel a good central base. You can get the express train from Schonefeld airport to Alexanderplatz. The hotel is clean and well presented. The rooms are maybe a little on the small side, however you don't go there to spend time in the hotel room. The beds were comfortable and the shower was a good size. We... More

The hotel is very new, very clean and the location is very central. Staff was helpful and kind and let us check out a little later than usual at no additional cost. It is not the cheapest (especially the extras like breakfast and parking) but good value for money considering how elegant and new it is. Nice for couples if... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
