We stayed here for 4 days in May for a birthday weekend and could not have asked for a better experience. The apartment is located in a great spot with a number of bars, restaurants and shops right outside whilst still being quiet and secluded. The apartment itself is spacious and clean with a full kitchen, decent bathroom and spacious... More

We were a group of 5 friends visiting Berlin in August 2012. We wanted to stay in Friedrichshain so the position of this apartment in Ravaler Strasse was perfect. It's close to a world of restaurants, clubs , supermarkets, bicycles rental shops and transports. The apartment is huge and it can easily accomodate more than 5 people. The kitchen is... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the five skulls apartments in Berlin. Firstly it was very easy to find (two trains away from Schoenefeld airport, about 30 mins), the apartments are a 3 minute walk away from the S-Bahn and U-Bahn station Warschauer Straße; which is around 4 stops away from the shopping centre Alaxanderplaz! Seeing as the apartments are... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
