This place was very modern and clean with very friendly staff. Location was great as it was right by the metro station. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because the elevator was broke during our stay and we were on the third floor. Also, you couldn't connect to wifi from inside... More

Nothing but good things about this hotel!Very clean, good sized rooms,24h reception, safe neighbourhood.Yes the glass bathroom is bit weird but if you are comfortable enough with the person you are staying with then it's just funny!!The hotel is centrally located ,right in the middle of dozens cafes and restaurants .Just 50 metres away from Savignyplatz train station that takes you all... We stayed for three nights, still making up room when we arrived, second night room not made up despite our request, when we arrived back at the hotel on the third day PM, room still not made up even though our request the previous day was acknowledged, the excuse was the hotel as busy! Carpets in our room were stained.

Been here 3 times with friends or family. The biggest pro's are the location and the rooms itself. The biggest conts is the s-bahn which is driving close to the hotel. It doesn't bother me, but if you're a very light sleeper I can imagine it'll bother you. All in all it says something I returned here 3 times. The... More

This hotel is small, and situated in a side street of Kudamm or Kurfürstendamm, which is a great shopping street. In the vicinity (max 10-15 min walk) are stations for 3 U-bahn lines which means you can get anywhere, fast. The staff is very friendly and attentive, making you feel it is a family operation. The rooms are newly refurbished,... More

Brilliant hotel for a base in the West, 2mins from Savignyplatz station. Lovely clean, modern room. Slightly open batroom (top) so best for a stay with someone you are comfortable around! Hotel is located next to trainline and you can hear trains but this really didn't disrupt my stay at all. Hotel happy to store bags before/after check out. Did... More

I happened to arrive in Berlin, Germany, during its 25. Anniversary of the East-West Reunification: My initial booking with another hotel had not worked out and thus, with my baggage in tow, I traipsed from one booked-out hotel to another—until I came upon the EnergieHotel Berlin City West. The concierge took pity on my exhaustion and arranged for me to... More

What I like about this hotel: - Rooms are spacious and clean - Good breakfast - Nice staff and helpful - Safe box in room - Location is 3 min walk to the nearest tram station and one station away from one of the best shopping area in Berlin (lots of malls, shops and restaurants) What I didn't like about... We loved the unique room design! Everything was modern, new and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast - rich, fresh and tasty. Not included in a price though, but worth it's price. Location is great, just 2 minutes to S-Bahn station and very central, and it was surprisingly quiet, despite that it is located right hear... Nice hotel in the centre of Berlin, located on short distance from the centre (west). Clean rooms, quiet location. Breakfast is basic, but fine. I would stay here again when visiting Berlin for only one or two days, but otherwise would prefer a more comfortable hotel.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
