I spent two weeks in a huge, comfortable, well-designed studio. I never heard any of my neighbors. The hotel offers a great spa. It was great to have a kitchenette (but I never used the dishwasher!). The staff were invariably friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic: it's a short walk to Museum Island, and the neighborhood is full of... More

Excellent hotel in great location for getting around Berlin. Self-catering facilities were very good & plenty of places nearby to eat. Although in a busy location, little noise at night & therefore able to get a great night's sleep.Would certainly use this chain of hotels again.

Super location near all sorts of buses, trams and S-bahn and even a bakery near by for breakfast. Very clean and quiet and a nice little kitchen - BUT no Wi-fi in the room - one must sit in the lobby to use the Internet. The staff is very nice and ready to help.

The room I stayd in was very spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient. The next time I visit Berlin, I will most likely stay in Adina again.

Where do I start! I stay in quite a lot of hotels for work and leisure, and the Adina is the best I’ve stayed in for a long while, and at a very good price. I paid £80 for a single night stay, which by my ‘London benchmark’ is exceptionally good value. Starting with location, on this trip I was... More

This hotel is ideally situated near the Alexanderplatz and its TV tower and the nice restaurants and shops of the Hackescher Markt. It is at walking distance of the "Unter den Linden" street where are situated the most of the monuments. It has, nonetheless, a good access to transportation. Finally, the room we booked was very comfortable and well furnished.... More

Being a first time visitor to Berlin, it was great to discover that we were in the perfect location to really see the city. Hackescher Markt is a great little square filled with a range of bars & restaurants literally 2 minutes stroll from the front door. There's a bakery on the corner & a supermarket too, perfect for grabbing... More

I have stayed in this hotel a few times, but I think this was the last. There are a more hotels in the area that I want to try. This hotel has no free WiFi in room, no WIFi at all. They still have carpets in room and that's not really fresh. And the service in the bar is not... More

Being near to Hackescher Markt S-bahn station with its restaurants and bars and near to the park-like stretch of Spree riverfront was fantastic, even a market by the station some days. Cleanliness is top notch. Pay attention to the exorbitant charges for Internet use (which of course should be included these days), lack of coffee maker in unit and ice... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
