Hotel is in a good location for visiting the major tourist attractions and close to public transport services. The hotel itself is nicely decorated, clean and modern with a good breakfast option. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Hackescher Market is nice and lively on a Saturday with stalls, and buskers with lots of moderately priced restaurants. We stayed in... More

The Aldina was a perfect location to see all the main attractions of Berlin. It was very close to bus, tram and train stops. The hotel itself had great rooms, very modern, spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend the Adina to anyone visiting Berlin, either on business or pleasure.

Staff were very helpful, the hotel is about 2km from the Brandenburg Gate so most main attractions are walkable or it is easy to take the public transport very close to the hotel. The cooking facilities were good and clean and the bed comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a high floor apartment with a balcony. The wifi sucked, but everything else worked great. It was quiet at night and in the heart of things. We had a supermarket around the corner and a the Hackesher market was right there as well. We did not opt for the breakfast and just... More

The rest of my friends had sorted the holiday and just asked me for the money. there were 6 of us, 2 girls 4 boys. We had 2 adjacent rooms, the girls had a conventional room double, and we had a corner apartment with a kitchen, lounge and 2 double rooms. very spacious and the large double beds made for... More

This is my second stay (and review) at the Adina (Hackescher Markt), and again, I just enjoy this location. I am still at the hotel, and I just felt the need to state that the Adina should start offering free WiFi. The is the only thing missing. Let's be clear though... They do offer free WiFi in the lobby 24/7,... More

We stayed at Adina Apartment Hotel for seven nights for our first trip to Berlin. It's located near Hackascher Markt square one minute from the train station. There are plenty of restaurants and places to go out nearby and it is near all the historic monuments. The room is very clean with kitchen which includes stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster... The Adina concept is pretty well sorted: a modern, well designed combination of apartment and hotel. Ideal for a family stay. Ours was fairly quiet, spacious and spotless. What's not to like? Well ... the lack of internet and bizarre omission of a coffee maker in an otherwise well-equipped kitchenette, to name two. But this is the third city in... More

Loved staying at the Adina. Our studio room was huge and the bed very comfortable. The lobby was funky, the bar relaxing and the breakfast plentiful. The spa area was welcomed after a long day out seeing Berlin's sights. By far the best thing about the hotel is its location. Very close to the S ban and local hackerscher square... More

Dear Jacklyn S, I am very happy to read that we were able to impress you with our hotel and services. It seems you also were able to explore the neighborhood. Regarding the staircases, I am wondering if you had asked my team for it, as we definitely have a staircase where you can easily walk up to the lower... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
