Excellent location, room and staff. Only thing that detracts is wifi only free in rooms for 30 mins then you have to go to lobby. Not ideal when tired from touring and just want to catch up on news from home and do emails. Even two or three hours free would be good. Apart from that it is excellent and... More

I stayed here for five nights recently was was very surprised by the quality of the accommodation offered. As it suggests, these are small apartment stype rooms with a great little kitchen and small dining area. Very comfortable and clear with everything you could want from a hotel room. Staff were helpful and dealt with requests. Spa area was good... More

Excellent location close to a wide range of restaurants and near to many things to see and do. Nearness to railway stations made to hotel accessible. Staff very helpful. Apartment well appointed enabling us to be self contained. All in all, excellent for our family group of three.

Great Hotel in a great location. Our group stayed there for a week. Everyone was happy. The rooms are large, modern, well equipped and clean. The breakfast was fun with many choices. Having a small kitchen is handy with so many markets just steps from the hotel door. Location is perfect for getting to anyplace in Berlin by public transportation... More

One of the best hotels we've stayed in, in a European city. Arrived at the hotel at 11am and were given a beautiful room straight away even though check in isn't officially until 2pm. Room was a great size with kitchen area including a microwave, fridge, hob, kettle etc. We were lucky enough to have a room with a great... More

Just returned from a wonderful weekend in Berlin. This hotel really lives up to its rating. Location is great for sightseeing and shopping. Plenty of restaurants/bars nearby too. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. We found all staff very welcoming and helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Should we visit Berlin again this would be the hotel we... We stayed in a fantastically designed self-contained apartment in the Adina. The decor was in greys with yellow trim and very cool and up to date. Having a mini kitchen within the room to allow us to eat breakfast and prepare lunches at our own pace also made for a very relaxing experience and saved a bit of cash too.... More

We took a top floor room with a balcony. It was great, comfy bed, well appointed with a seating area and basic cooking facilities. The location is lively with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The bar downstairs is good too, serving food (we didn't eat there) and drinks. There are two jacuzzis in the basement, but they are only... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
