Super-friendly reception staff immediately challenged me with "what color room do you want?" :) The room is nice and quiet, even during the rock-concert in the lobby bar. Modern design, all amenities. Nice evening stroll along the river right under. Going to S-station through the "student crowd" could be a bit challenging, but that's the area choice. The East side... We stayed here after it was recommended by a friend and it was perfect. The location next to the river Spree is ideal for exploring East Berlin and is right next to some very cool clubs - Watergate if you want electronic music and magnet if you want indie. The staff were pleasant enough. The bar is very cool and... More

We stayed for one night at the Nhow since my 21 year old daughter and niece were with us. They loved the pink rooms and modern decor. The tv in the mirror was pretty cool and the staff very nice. The parking lot was roomy and the view of the river beautiful. We were also very close to a big... More

We spent 3 nights at the nhow hotel - it's unlike any hotel I've stayed at before. The breakfast/dining room, reception area, bar, elevators and rooms have spectacular decor and truly unique style and furniture. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the station, close to the techno clubs and the East Side Gallery. We loved our stay here!

We were invited to stay 1 night in the hotel by our friends, who had also booked the restaurant for their party that night. The interior of the hotel was something I had never seen before: pink almost everywhere, wavy lines on floors, curtains, towels, neon coloured elevators with music.... It was fun to look at and to be there,... More

I've been to Berlin many times, but never so much to the eastern part. The hotel is located really near to Universal Music, this gives I think the concept to the hotel, which is part of the NH-chain. The interior is really funny: the lobby is actually a concert hall with huge sofas, my whole room was pink (from the... More

Lovely clean funky hotel. Couldn't fault this hotel at all. Breakfast amazing and served at the weekends until 12 noon. Staff were very friendly and kind. A bit far away from the city center but cabs were cheap and always on hand. Would go there again.

Great modern hotel, very funky and friendly staff. Had a great view of the river and the room was well appointed - loved the shower!. The location was a bit away from things, but a train was not too far and we got around that way.

After more than 20 years travelling all around Europe I have to say that I´ve never been so badly treated never, nowhere. I arrive the hotel at 11 30 pm. My reservation was made the week before. I had advised that I was going to arrive late (as the receptionist recognized) . I was tired, but I still had to... More

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in early July. The design choices and decoration are fabulous giving it a very edgy vibe. Since it's located in front of the Spree River you can enjoy a nice view of the river, Oberbraun Bridge and the Molecule Man while just having a beer at the hotel bar. Bartenders are really... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
