Lovely clean funky hotel. Couldn't fault this hotel at all. Breakfast amazing and served at the weekends until 12 noon. Staff were very friendly and kind. A bit far away from the city center but cabs were cheap and always on hand. Would go there again.

Great modern hotel, very funky and friendly staff. Had a great view of the river and the room was well appointed - loved the shower!. The location was a bit away from things, but a train was not too far and we got around that way.

After more than 20 years travelling all around Europe I have to say that I´ve never been so badly treated never, nowhere. I arrive the hotel at 11 30 pm. My reservation was made the week before. I had advised that I was going to arrive late (as the receptionist recognized) . I was tired, but I still had to... More

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in early July. The design choices and decoration are fabulous giving it a very edgy vibe. Since it's located in front of the Spree River you can enjoy a nice view of the river, Oberbraun Bridge and the Molecule Man while just having a beer at the hotel bar. Bartenders are really... More

Having stayed in Berlin a few times earlier, I've got a taste of some of Berlin's quirky hotels and I was expecting the same from nHow. As we entered there was promise - but from then on we scratched beneath the surface and all was not pretty. I do not like writing bad reviews without adequate reason but this hotel... More

Catering to the music business clearly, it was somewhat disappointing that the room service and restaurant were so bad. Not only did they bar and food service end quite early (which for musicians is a real drag), the quality of the food wasn't good. A simple tomato and mozzarella salad was served with spoiled cheese. The pink decor was a... More

I stayed there with a friend, in a heat wave of around 38 degrees! This hotel is very cool, the interior design is fantastic and it has a heavy music theme to everything from the different themed elevators to the menus in the restaurant. Very well situated by the river Spree. 35 mins from Schoenfeld airport. Taxi's permanently situated outside.... More

The hotel is overall very nice. The all pink is maybe not for everyone and some of the "features" seem nice initially, but turn out to be not so practical. For example the TV is hidden behind a mirror. Only once you turn on the TV you know where it is. Unfortunately, the mirror adds additional glare, so without closing... More

Get a room facing the river and you'll enjoy the view out, but inside its like a Barbie-hotel. Hard to get past all the pink but it's simple, clean and friendly. Walking distance to the east side gallery and ost-bahnhof and a number of hip berlin restaurants....

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
