I love this hotel, been there 3 times on business trips already. First choice when in Berlin as the location is prime, the staff nice and helpful and the interior different. Great four business and leisure trips. Unfortunately the roof terrace is no longer available for hotel guests, as it will be used as a "location to rent".

I loved The Weinmeister and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a fantastic location at a very unique hotel! The vibe is super chill and they always have free candy, croissants, cake, late night sausage, etc for their guests. Let's talk about the staff - massive shoutout to AARON, SHINTA, & MARION. Our stay was complete... More

Located between the U-8 stops this is a very strong offering overshadowed by its more expensive neighbor the Casa Camper. The art work is more distinctive and the iMacs are terrific as computers/televisions in every room. The shower is good and the room was clean and well thought out except for utilizing the iMac as a computer.

This is a good example of how the desire to be "trendy" gets wrong... First no external signage, so the taxi can see where to stop. I saw a guy waking twice in front of the door before realizing this was the hotel entrance... Claustrophobic lobby, absurd design both in common places and rooms, lack of amenities and no proper... The Weinmeister is located in Berlin Mitte in a very nice neighborhood next to S-Bahn station Hackescher Markt. It's obviously made for young urban "trendy" people. iMacs instead of "old fashioned" TV on the rooms, room service has to be solicited by guests. Staff behaves "cool and professional", not really nice and charming. Rooms clean and impressing with design furnishing,... More

This hotel is situated in Mitte and that is the best part. The hotel's design is great, the rooms are clean, Imac in the room. Hotel minuses - Lack of a true wardrobe Breakfast is 18 euro - a lot for what they offers

This is my third visit to the Weinmeister. The service is great and friendly, the location within short walking distance or tube station ride from all local attractions. Beautifully and uniquely decorated and reasonably priced make it a great choice.

Only stayed here for a couple of nights and I was quite ill during the entire stay. Despite this, the hotel room was quite pleasurable. Rooms were a bit on the small side with a large entrance - wasted space in my opinion. Nice clean toilet and bathroom - shower was great. Could do with having larger TVs since it's... More

Stayed here one night while on a work visit. Trendy and over designed hotel but not all the design makes good sense or adds up to comfort. Sofas in the lobby area and the head of the beds are imposing looking but add to sense of claustrophobia. Breakfast is also along similar minimalist lines! Overall had a nice enough stay,... More

The Weinmeister is definitely trendy and makes sure you know it by the graffitied entrance thats almost easy to miss. Once you're inside theres a lots of high back chairs so you can disappear should desire. Efficient check in process and jar of jelly sweets if you find it hard it concentrate without sugar. I had a room on the... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
