Minutes away from Alexanderplatz and Rosentaler platz this boutique hotel will blow yr mind with their house beer - lager beer created by famous brewer with almost offensive name created for marketing purposes. I found it very cool. The rooms were comfy and modern, staff is very nice and helpful. There is small rooftop bar overlooking the Alexanderplatz tower.

We had a large room. Well designed room with large bed and (xl) bath en rainshower, everything was very clean. Love the shower gel and shampoo bottles (also large!!) Great so far. Front desk service sucks. Posing friendly and polite, and i can't imagine they don't mean well but they don't offer much help or service other than being there.... More

Good things: nice bed, nice shower, friendly staff, very good location. Not so good: the rooftop terrasse is only available for privat parties, there was no more showergel left in the room and when we afsked for a new one we were given a small cheap shampoo instead of the nice products that were in the room when we arrived.... Graffitied entrance; Gulliver's Travels furniture; a Mac instead of a TV; no room service unless you request it; a room safe that's so well hidden you won't be able to find it - I can see why some people really won't like this hotel. But we loved it, so much more fun than staying in a dull, identikit boretel. Add... More

Great location, the rooms are of a good size with a quirky layout - the bath and shower were great too. But.... Cleanliness was an issue in my room - lots of random hairs found on the bed, the bed frame itself has a material fabric which clearly attracts dirt and dust - pretty grim. In the bath there were... Stayed over at the Weinmeister hotel in Berlin this week. Great place. Staff were friendly and helpful and the deco was most different to all the hotel I have stayed in. Great area and it was a very reasonable rate too. Good hotel, please do go and visit.

This hotel has a great location with access to all sorts of transport. Walking distance to many sights. Comfortable beds, great showers and toiletries. Bed is so high that I as a six footer with long legs had to clamber in. WiFi was good. The area is very interesting but don't expect tourist information at the desk they are friendly... More

I really liked this place, sort of designers place for a reasonable money and the location! It's situated in the middle of mitte, close to everywhere. Rooms are spacious and with this funny UV light :-) quality to price ratio - excellent! Staff very friendly! Wanna stay in mitte, don't overpay - this is really good place!

I spent a 2-nights stay at the Weinmeister on last April, during a business travel. It's a really fascinating place, out of the standard of a common accomodation chain; and this is true from the very first step you move outside the taxi, when you get there: it's hard to recognize the entrance, in particular if you are arriving late... Had a nice stay at the weinmeister boutique hotel: + location, very central, close to offices + breakfast, quite good quality and variety + a few tables outside to have drinks + staff is welcoming and smiling - my room was a bit small, so is the bathroom - no minibar I will repeat a stay at weinmeister if I... Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
