Stayed over at the Weinmeister hotel in Berlin this week. Great place. Staff were friendly and helpful and the deco was most different to all the hotel I have stayed in. Great area and it was a very reasonable rate too. Good hotel, please do go and visit.

This hotel has a great location with access to all sorts of transport. Walking distance to many sights. Comfortable beds, great showers and toiletries. Bed is so high that I as a six footer with long legs had to clamber in. WiFi was good. The area is very interesting but don't expect tourist information at the desk they are friendly... More

I really liked this place, sort of designers place for a reasonable money and the location! It's situated in the middle of mitte, close to everywhere. Rooms are spacious and with this funny UV light :-) quality to price ratio - excellent! Staff very friendly! Wanna stay in mitte, don't overpay - this is really good place!

I spent a 2-nights stay at the Weinmeister on last April, during a business travel. It's a really fascinating place, out of the standard of a common accomodation chain; and this is true from the very first step you move outside the taxi, when you get there: it's hard to recognize the entrance, in particular if you are arriving late... Had a nice stay at the weinmeister boutique hotel: + location, very central, close to offices + breakfast, quite good quality and variety + a few tables outside to have drinks + staff is welcoming and smiling - my room was a bit small, so is the bathroom - no minibar I will repeat a stay at weinmeister if I... I love this hotel, been there 3 times on business trips already. First choice when in Berlin as the location is prime, the staff nice and helpful and the interior different. Great four business and leisure trips. Unfortunately the roof terrace is no longer available for hotel guests, as it will be used as a "location to rent".

I loved The Weinmeister and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a fantastic location at a very unique hotel! The vibe is super chill and they always have free candy, croissants, cake, late night sausage, etc for their guests. Let's talk about the staff - massive shoutout to AARON, SHINTA, & MARION. Our stay was complete... More

Located between the U-8 stops this is a very strong offering overshadowed by its more expensive neighbor the Casa Camper. The art work is more distinctive and the iMacs are terrific as computers/televisions in every room. The shower is good and the room was clean and well thought out except for utilizing the iMac as a computer.

This is a good example of how the desire to be "trendy" gets wrong... First no external signage, so the taxi can see where to stop. I saw a guy waking twice in front of the door before realizing this was the hotel entrance... Claustrophobic lobby, absurd design both in common places and rooms, lack of amenities and no proper... The Weinmeister is located in Berlin Mitte in a very nice neighborhood next to S-Bahn station Hackescher Markt. It's obviously made for young urban "trendy" people. iMacs instead of "old fashioned" TV on the rooms, room service has to be solicited by guests. Staff behaves "cool and professional", not really nice and charming. Rooms clean and impressing with design furnishing,... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
