Stayed in a single room with private bathroom. Perfect sized room, nice bed and a small desk and it was so clean. Very friendly staff. Finally it was very easy to get there with bus and s-bahn. I really do recommend this hostel.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a city break in April 2015. The hostel was perfect! It was clean, the rooms were huge (we stayed in an 8-bed dorm), and the bathrooms were spotless. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and the experience was made all-the-better by the most attractive man I've ever seen working in reception! Perfectly located by... More

The room in the hotel was very nice. Austere, but it had everything I needed to feel comfortable. The bed and sheets were really good - I slept really well. The bathroom was well equipped - for one person I got three towels! :-) One huge plus: even though there's no tea and coffee in the rooms, there's a big,... More

The rooms were moderately sized, well furnished, the best were comfy and were very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean, but the showers were too powerful. The food provided was very good, just a basic continental breakfast. Staff were very helpful and polite.

I had too much to drink and I fell asleep in reception. I was woken up and admittadly was probably a bit grumpy. I was attacked by three of the staff members who eventually tied my legs and arms behind my back while I lay on the ground. They then removed my clothes from the waste down, for what reason... More

In November 2014, together with a group of friends we stayed in a nice, spacious 6-bed dorm in Industriepalast. This hostel has everything we needed. The room was comfortable, very quiet, showers and toilets were always clean. One of the advantages of the hostel was the main hall, usually full of people, where we could spend some time everyday, before... More

clean, well located and reasonable prices. i'd probably go back. the only inconvenient thing i can say about the place is the bed sheet policy: you have to pay extra, set them up yourself and bring them to the desk when you leave.

Clean, warm hostel - I would stay here again. Eight of us shared a room. No frills - bunk beds etc - but room was clean and warm even in February. Hostel is large and the guests were of different types - couples, school groups, children as well as backpackers. Very good location for the pubs, restaurants & clubs of... More

Normal hostel with everything you can find in this kind of accomodation. The biggest issue: I found pretty weird that when you got a 6-bedroom booked between 6 friends and for 2 nights (meaning nobody would check-out after the first night) the housekeeper enter in the room hoovering and waking up everybody!!! Of course, she was just doing what the... More

Nice rooms, good value for money and friendly staff. However, the smoke cabin was a nuisance, as you could smell smoke the minute you entered the hall. Breakfast not really worth the money. If you're lloking for a place with easy access to public transportation, the location is perfect. E few very nice bars/restaurants around the corner. If the hotel... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
