This was my third time staying at Industripalast in Warschauer Strasse 43 in Berlin. This is a perfect place to be for a week with a group of students. The rooms for 4-8 persons are spacious and clean. The cellar is a great space for groupwork and leisuretime playing tabletennis and Fuzball. The big loungearea around the reception is the... More

The staff are very friendly & helpful with excellent English. No wifi though which was advertised & was one if the reasons I chose it. Location was fantastic, room was ok for dorm.. Was great to be able to store luggage a few hours after checkout.

I have stayed for 5 days at the INDUSTRIEPALAST in October 2014 and can recommend it as the best hostel in Berlin that I have visitied so far. The rooms are very clean with tainless bathrooms and tidy bedlinen. In general, the entire hostel is very tiday. It is a budget place alright, therefore the breakfast was simple, but it... More

Location: Quite a trendy hostel in an apparently trendy street. It's also very close to the East Side Gallery, the most decorated remains of the Berlin Wall. There's cheap food nearby and a shop for drinks. Transport: Train or tram is available with Alexanderplatz being only a few stops away. On the inside: it's very clean and the key cards... More

Stayed here recently, good hostel with private rooms. Clean, good value for money and friendly staff. Will be coming back. Train station right across the street and lots of good food a short walk away.

Quite far from the main attractions. The hostel is very expensive. And when you get the hostel you have to pay some extras (not included) like sheets, wifi in the room and also taxes!!!! The wifi in the lobby is free but rarely works. If you are planning to go there think that you will pay at least 5 euros... More

Very good location, easy to get there. Very friendly and helpful staff. And very, very clean rooms,we had a private room with 2 beds. Had everything there, towels, soap etc. The hole hostel is very clean and nice. Only minus point is that if you want WiFi in your room, you need to pay.

This is a clean, modern property in an excellent location. It is directly across the street from the train station in Friedrichschain and around the corner from the Eastside Gallery. They also have an elevator. My only complaint is that there was no soap in the restrooms (you have to have your own), they charge for linen, and they charge... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
