I stayed back in October 2014 on a school trip for 3 nights. The room was fairly large with plenty of beds. The bathroom was fine along with the shower. The only bad thing was it was very noisy at night when leaving the window open and people outside your room talking and running up and down the hallway. Overall... More

I've stayed here for 5 days in a dormroom with 8 beds, but only for women. It was alright but sometimes pretty noisie outside. And I think there could be done more about the cleanliness of a thr dormrooms. My pillow and my blanket had big stains on them which I thought was not really nice to sleep iny and... More

We stayed here on probably one of the most manic weekends possible, it was the 25th anniversay of the fall of the Berlin wall and there were transport strikes all over the city, despite this thanks to it's central location we weren't affected too much. The hotel itself was very clean and the breakfast was great, with plenty of variety.... More

I stayed here for 2 weeks as part of a language in course I took. I was expecting a small dorm room for myself but was happy to find that they booked me a hotel room, which meant I had more privacy and bathroom facilities. Guests are mostly schoolchildren, which is why I wouldn't recommend if you want a "social"... More

Paid 65 Euro per night. The room is good and new, good bed, good shower, no complaints regarding the facilities. In front at the reception they have a bar with coffee and pools, free wifi and free newspaper. The breakfast is really good. Anyhow, this is a mix between a hostel and a hotel. During my stay there were a... More

There were hundreds of rooms so obviously my comment is only a portion of what the hostel can be like. I booked short notice so this may be why the price was quite high but I feel like the hostel wasn't work paying €30 a night in an 8 bed dorm. I was on the 2nd floor, room was clean... More

My partner and I stayed for two nights in a private hostel room for a bit of privacy and relaxation - not so. Customer service at the front desk was cursory. The room was very basic, towels provided but not much else. The room was incredibly noisy, you could hear everything happening in the hallway and busses/delivery trucks/luggage bags on... More

I stayed at this hostel with my family and friends and we were all very happy with our choice. They offer a very nice breakfast, rooms were spotless clean and the atmosphere was very nice. Location is great as its name already says (main train station). I would most certainly recommend this place for those on a budget or looking... More

The good thing is: You can book a real hotel room here - which you should do - cause bedrooms with 8 oder 9 beds are cheaper, but you would not want to sleep in one room with total strangers. So book a regular double bedroom and enjoy the price. They do not switch towels every day - you would... More

In general, we had a good experience staying the Hotel. Stayed with family (2 Adults & 2 Kids). Room provided to us was nice and large. Breakfast Buffet spread was good. Located in nice & calm locality. Walking distance from Berlin Train Station.

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
