Booked this room for 2 nights to sleep 8 for a stag, Was very clean, good amenities and comfy beds. Decor was nice, with wooden flooring throughout. The surrounding area was very nice too, with a convenience store/patisserie below. Close to the city centre and some other pubs. Highly recommended!

All said in the title! Stayed for the weekend with a group of friends. Staff in reception friendly and helpful. Apartment basic but has everything you need, is spacious, clean and great value for money. In a nice quiet area of the city. Close to a supermarket for stocking up the fridge. Good prices for food/drink there. Close to the... More

We were a group of 7 adults looking for a nice and trendy place to stay for 2 nights, all together. We got a very clean and functional apartment, located only 2 stations away from Alexanderplatz. The staff was friendly and helpful; we arrived really late but it wasn't a problem. Good value for your money.

There was seven of us staying in an apartment for eight and we had absolutely no complaints. Check-in was very smooth, the location convenient and the apartment itself exceeded our expectations, especially considering the price. The bedrooms were medium large to big, the kitchen huge and well equipped and the living room area (in one of the bedrooms) was comfy.... More

This is an excellent base for a family trip to Berlin. We were a group of 7, 3 children, 2 parents and 2 grandparents, and the apartment accommodated us perfectly, with real beds for all of us and 3 bedrooms. The dining kitchen is huge and reasonably appointed (no oven, but a hob and a grilling microwave, and anyway, in... More

we were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay with two kids, aged 14 and 11. Booked this place on Expedia and hoped for the best. Far exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous, bright, spacious apartment on a quiet street in a lovely district, just a few steps from the U-ban. A number of exceptional restaurants nearby, including one of Berlin's... More

This was a group holiday and one that we do every year. The booking people were really helpful as we needed to book 2 apartments and did so with no problem. Some good bars and restaurants near but also just a short train ride into city. Walking is possible too. Apartments were clean and well equipped for a weekend stay.

I stayed here with my three friends in June 2014, and we all found it a really wonderful apartment. It was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The location is also great, with a very short distance to the metro and only about 10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. The area has several shops and some nice restaurants. The staff at... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
