We stayed in October 2015 in an OTA Apartment, Metzer Street 8. We had a 3-room flat with a big kitchen and a bathroom. The furniture and the equipment was modern and clean. Parking is possible in the streets. Attention: We had two elderly people with us. The access to the flat- situated on the first floor - is only... More

Stayed at OTA for 2 nights with my friends and we took a 3 bedroom apartment. We arrived before checkin time but the room was already ready and we were able to do an early check-in. Overall the apartment was super clean and cosy! The kitchen provides the common utilities and a nice quantity of cutlery, dishes, glasses, cups, etc... More

I stayed at one of the apartments on Schönhausser Allee 5. It was a one room apartment with kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is located close to the u-bahn station and close to shops/ restaurants. It was clean and everything was quite new. The service at the office was smooth. Overall a good place to stay, would book again

I stayed in OTA Berlin in Metzer Straße a week with other five friends and I could not find something better. The apartment was clean and comfortable, the neighborhood, Prenzlauer Berg, was quiet and elegant. Prices are really affordable and the staff is really competent, friendly and kind. I also forgot my sweatershirt in the hall and they sent it... More

Large, open apartment well situated in the center of Berlin. Clean and nice. Very friendly staff, eager to help. We stayed 5 nights and will surely book again. Parking on the street was easy. Quiet surroundings. Nice little bakery at the entrance.

Booked this room for 2 nights to sleep 8 for a stag, Was very clean, good amenities and comfy beds. Decor was nice, with wooden flooring throughout. The surrounding area was very nice too, with a convenience store/patisserie below. Close to the city centre and some other pubs. Highly recommended!

We were a group of 7 adults looking for a nice and trendy place to stay for 2 nights, all together. We got a very clean and functional apartment, located only 2 stations away from Alexanderplatz. The staff was friendly and helpful; we arrived really late but it wasn't a problem. Good value for your money.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
