Great location, 50m from the public transportation. Outstanding decoration, very very clean room, excellent service...well, one of the best hotels I have been. Negative points: - WiFi is quite slow - no power outlet in the bathroom - no mirror light in the bathroom

Having stayed at the Sir Albert hotel in Amsterdam last year, which is owned by the same group, I was expecting the same high standard but have to say this hotel was much smaller, with no restaurant and although we had an executive room, the standard was lower than expected. When I say this, I mean it was stylish but... More

Lovely hotel, brilliant staff, lovely simple interior design. Small rooms but everything you need and extremely clean. Complimentary mini bar of non-alcoholic drinks and nespresso capsules. Good selection at breakfast. Good cocktail selection. Very helpful staff. Good smell.

Nice hotel with great personal service. Nice room in modern Nordic style with great beds, no noice from the city during the night. Free coffee and softdrinks in the room. Good traditionel breakfast. Great for business stays but likely for couples as well.

Business trip was a positive experience in this laid-back hip hotel in west Berlin. Great location and easy to get to U-bahn, S-bahn or a taxi. With no reception desk and super personal the check-in and out was very personal and cozy. Bars and common areas are top notch whereas the rooms are a little in the rear-position compared to... Our reason for booking this hotel...absolutely, hands down because we've stayed at Sir Albert in Amsterdam and booked this hotel feeling confident our expectations would be met. The public spaces, "study" and bar/breakfast room fit the bill. The staff are friendly and Stefan the bar tender/mixologist was informative, personable and mixed a mean Julep amongst other cocktails. We booked the... More

Having stayed at the Sir Albert in Amsterdam which was excellent I was expecting the same quality. Shame it never materialised. The service was ok especially the barman Stefan who was full of ideas of where to go etc. the room we had appeared tired, the wardrobe wasn't big enough to hang a shirt and the Kingsize bed was two... Sir F.K Savigny is a nice little boutique hotel close to everything you would need for a good trip. The hotel has the S-Bahn centered right in the area, but still not too close to be bothered by the noise. And there is only a five minute walk to Kufurstendamm with a lot of nice shops. In the area you... More

Central, modern and very good hotel. Close to Kudamm. Not suitable if allergic to fragance. Heavy smell of perfume in lobby (might have been from candles?)made it impossible to even consider trying breakfast.

What a pitty, of course my hosts would turn off the aroma in The Study. Most guests love it, my apologizes that for you it was not nice. Maybe you will come back another day. Let us know and we will turn it off for you, it would be our pleasure. Your Sir F.K. Savigny More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. We enjoyed it very much. Lovely rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Highly recommendable. Ask for rooms facing the garden. Very quiet. Will stay here again.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
