It's my third stay at this wonderful hotel. Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights when visiting Berlin. Everything is eco friendly and the breakfast buffet is made of local bio products...what a great idea. The rooms are spacious, bright and very clean. Wifi is not free which I didn't mind as I can do a hotspot with... More

Would definitely stay here again. It's cool, chic and tastefully designed. The food was really nice and there bar/restaurant area is great for hanging out with a load of friends. It;s not that expensive either form what i can remember

The COSMO hotel had been nice overall. The staff are good, my room was comfortable and well equipped. However, the WiFi/Internet is a problem. It is listed as free but it is NOT. It is only free in the communal areas, if you want to use it in you're room you'll need to pay a ridiculous €6.50 per 24 hours... More

What a fantastic experience! We contacted the stuff after completing the reservation to make sure everything is ok since we planned to celebrate our anniversary in Berlin. A few hours later they replied for verification. At the arrival, after saying my name they knew who are we and what we came for! They greeted us and made our room ready... More

I stayed at the Cosmo Hotel whilst I was working in the Berlin office. The room was an acceptable size for someone who only stays there to sleep like I did. Breakfast was a buffet of cold foods with the option to have eggs cooked to order and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here... More

I stayed for one night in early June. The hotel is well situated to the centre of Berlin. My room was located on the second floor overlooking the main road however I could not here any of the traffic noise. The room was quite small but adequate for a short stay. There was plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom... More

Great staff. Good location near the happening Kreuzberg, the Gendarmenmarkt and the Nikolaiviertel. U-bahn station across the street. Rooms are big enough for solotravel, get a large room for a couple. Surcharge for in room WIFI is very 2010, but reasonably priced at 6,50euro per night, and of good quality. Watching Netflix is not a problem. Would recommend for business... More

This hotel was pretty contemporary with nice rooms and very comfy beds. I came here for a long weekend with my girlfriend and it was a perfect hotel for what we wanted. Wifi was free and it was pretty handy to get to the places we wanted to visit. We also rented bikes which was relatively cheap at the hotel.

The Cosmo is within walking distance of most of the major sights in Berlin - just a 10 minute walk along the canal to Museum Island and a pleasant, interesting walk to the Reichstag. There are two nearby tube stations for easy access to the airport. We had booked a comfort room but were upgraded to a deluxe corner room... More

We were a group of five staying in Berlin for four days. We chose the Cosmo after a friend recommended it to us. Centrally placed for most places of interest. The nearest restaurant (you could eat at the hotel but we prefer to try the local eateries) is Rotisserie Weingrun. Absolutely marvellous. Turn left out of the hotel and walk... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
