This hotel inside really is beautiful. The minute you step through the door you know that it's a quality hotel. We got it a long time in advance for a really good price. Location wise, it's ok if your fit and mobile which we all were but the distance from main areas may be too far for anyone elderly or... More

Very good location in the middle of Mitte. Reception staff is a little bit poor on giving informtion. They gave us the handicao room which is acceptable in busy times but did not mention it. We could not see the shutters on the window untill second day. Room orientation should be given in detail. Other than that nice big toom.... More

Multiple changes to my itinerary were handled super efficient and friendly. The service attitude of Cosmo staff is impeccable and has been for a number of years. It is just great to come "home" from a busy workday and relax at the stylish bar / lobby with that great feeling of being welcome and to be served with a very... More

The hotel itself was fantastic, gorgeous to look at. Friendly and helpful staff, recommended a Thai Restaurant that was a 5 minute walk and I would really recommend it. The rooms are a great size and have everything you need, the free wifi can only be used in reception otherwise it's €6 per day. There is a underground over the... More

What a great hotel. Huge new rooms with tall windows and a very nice view. The hotel staff was very helpful and gave us sincere tips about where to eat and party. This was one of the best hotels I've ever been to.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the shopping malls and the historical tourist must sees. Staff pleasant and room nice and clean. Disappointed there was no bath but my fault for not checking the room details. Bed was so comfortable and the bedding lovely and squidgy - felt like sleeping in a cloud. Didn't try breakfast as quite expensive and... More

I went there with my girlfriend for 3 nights. We had the junior suit. Service was flawless. Design is nice. Location was central with a U-Banh station next to it and a walking distance from all the main place of interests in Mitte. The bed was too soft for my taste. TV was mostly only in German and the movie-on-demand... More

This is an outstanding hotel, very centrally located and very reasonably priced. We too were upgraded to a larger room by a helpful staff. We had a large corner room on the 6th floor and were not troubled by any noise from Leipziger Strasse which runs right in front of the hotel. Location was extremely convenient with Spittelmarkt U-bahn station... More

We stayed here for a 3 night city break and found the hotel to be in an excellent location and very good value for money. Subway is opposite the hotel, and taxi to Tagel airport around 20 euros. 15 min walk to the tv tower. We stayed in a junior suit, around 120 euros a night, including breakfast. Check in... More

Our stay was outstanding mainly due to the amazing service we experienced. The reception we were always greeted with a smile and were generally very helpful. We got great advice on trendy restaurants (thank you Karolina!!) and the free coffee and tea in the lobby were a nice touch.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
