Perfect location - 2 minutes from Tram and U Bahn - 5 mins from S Bahn. Area feels safe even late at night. Clean, warm, wll equipped room that was much, much bigger than we expected. A/C which would be a blessing in the summer! Bar welcoming to all ages - everyone from backpackers to families with young children to... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, sharing a room with 2 people, the room itself was huge, with a nice big wardrobe. Very tidy and clean, nice bathroom with a heated towel rack. Breakfast was good, sauna was lovely too. Only problems were instead of a normal light in the ceiling in our room we had a lamp and the pool... More

Location: 3 stops away from Alexanderplatz, S-bahn and U-bahn station + a Lidl (supermarket) at the corner. Also, there are two night clubs near by and the east side gallery is a 10 min walk Room: I stayed in a four people room with our own bathroom, which was huge and even had shampoo and soap for free! Each bed... More

As always with Plus Hostels, it looks more like a hotel than a hostel. Very friendly and patient staff, very nice infrestructure and big lockers. At night it is a little to noicy and a lot of light enter to the rooms. You have a long walk from the U-bahn or S-bahn stations and you have to go through a... More

Stayed here for 5 days as a birthday treat with my boyfriend. The whole experience was amazing, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful, I loved all the art everywhere, the atmosphere was amazing, the food in the restaurant was also amazing. I have no negatives to say about this place at all. Whilst... Had a very nice (and our first) hostel experience at PLUS Berlin. Room (private, quadruple) really spacious, so was the bathroom. They have bunnies on the yard, free yoga class, nice mood all around. Breakfast ok for 6€. Our complaints comes from hardest ever mattresses, lousy pillows - but Berlin kept us busy to get a good night's deep sleeps... More

The Plus hostel in Berlin is a great place to stay for a short break to Berlin. Great access to all the usual attractions plus far enough off the beaten track to feel part of the edgyer side of East Berlin. Great for kids too, good common room and facilities and really great staff happy to help and advise. Swimming... More

I would highly recommend this hostel. The WiFi was great (15mb/s+), there is a pool and sauna and the bar is quite nice. The rooms were quite spacious for a Europe hostel and overall it was a cool place to stay whilst in Berlin! It is also about 100m from the club, 'matrix'

Stayed at the plus hostel at the beginning of February as part of a group. Can't fault the value for money, if anything this was just like a hotel, at hostel prices. Location was great, a short walk from the train, tram stations East side gallery, literally 2 minutes away. Lidl just up the road too. Had a great time,... More

Actually the service was really good, with elevator, rooms are clean, large lockers, bathrooms are also clean. (I was staying in a 4ppl on-suite dorm.) Location is not very convenient though, as you need to climb some stairs when you go from the train station to the hostel. Not much choice of restaurants nearby. Very near the Berlin Wall. But... Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
