It is pension, it is not hotel. There is no reception. The breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:00, but yesterday was finished when I gone at 09:45! Rooms are freezing cold! Rooms on the side of the road are so noisy and it is hard to sleep! Furniture is older than me! Hotel has no entry! It is on the... More

Worn, dirty and dingy. Furniture was tired, carpet was filthy, pillowcase stained, insect in the bed looked suspiciously like a baby cockcroach. Lino and/or dirty carpet on the floor in the corridors. Entrance via a dark doorway and even darker staircase. If it was 1 star and cheap I would not complain, but it claims to be 3 star and... The rooms are okay but have a musty smell that is overpowering. It is on a main road so rooms facing the street are very noisy. The entrance is dark and coming back late at night alone was a concern. It is a good 10 minute walk to transport- the staff are helpful and the breakfast was a reasonable standard.

We stayed in a room facing the courtyard and it was very quiet and calm room. The breakfast is very nice and lots of things to choose from! The room and the hotel were clean, not particularly luxurious but confortable and suited us perfectly. We arrived late at night but we were left a key kn a safety box outside... More

It is clean, bathroom is ok and cleaning service works, but apart for that there is nothing good about this hotel. Entrance is through a shady hallway, breakfast room is way too small and sometimes people need to wait for a table. We had a room facing the street and it was quite noisy. Surroundings has strip club and girls... More

The hotel was good, the room was large and very clean. The only thing we didn't like was the distance we had to walk in order to get everywhere. One of the receptionists didn't speak any English. It is not close to the main sights. The breakfast was really really nice.

Small hotel with strange entrance – first floor of the building, but great location. Clean and comfortable. Our triple room was spacious with new bathroom with everything you need to, no refrigerator and air conditioner, but warmed enough by central heating, Breakfast room is small but nice with its fresh colors and the breakfast was wonderful, rich and diverse for... Cannot fault this small older style Berlin hotel, with the amazing breakfast (cheeses, hams, eggs, salad, fruit, smoked salmon, yoghurts, breads, to name a few) and all in the very reasonable price.Easy acces to the centre and main sights, all walkable but buses M85, M48 stop outside hotel both ways. Rooms immaculately clean with modern en suite facilities. Very helpful... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
