The hotel is very different from other hotels I stayed in. It is very modern and unusually decorated (it is a good thing). I would recommend this hotel to young couples traveling without kids. The location of the hotel is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful in all respects. The breakfast though is just alright - would... More

Wonderful hotel. Great location and the best bed ever. Also wonderful 24 hour buffet and drinks for free was fabulous. Honesty bar was simply the icing on the cake, loved it! Very good location for all the museums and bars and restaurants. Airport 25 mins on train.

I travelled to Berlin last last year, in November to be exact and have been meaning to write this review for some time. I stayed at the Casa Camper for 7 days whilst in Berlin for a conference. My experience at the Casa Camper was fantastic, I cannot rate it highly enough for design and value. I have stayed in... More

My husband and I stayed here in Oct and were very happy with our choice. Modern and well thought out, the rooms have a great bathroom area. Lots of counter space for toiletries and good lighting. The shower is to die for. Best water pressure in Europe. We wondered how they can blast it so much? Nice chill atmosphere and... More

Very good, modern young minded hip hotel with brilliant details. Can only recommend! Great rooms, great services!! Not a business kind of hotel, rather leisure.. I'm a quite hard kind to be satisfied with comfort at a hotel, and this one does the job 100%!!

This review is almost 5 months after my stay. Very modern layout, stayed at Camper Suite (an adjoining room) for four of us. Very spacious room. with a queen bed and a sofa bed. There was additional charge for two of us 50 euros per person per night. I didn't mind paying additional 300euros on top of $1700(AUD) but the... More

Booked 2 adjoining rooms for 2 adults and 2 children. Rooms were excellent, very modern open plan type with no door to bathroom. Very helpful staff who gave advice on where to go, what to see and also booked us into a local restaurant for dinner. Only there for 1 night and really loved the breakfast which was a buffet... We've stayed in the Barcelona version a couple of times, and this one is as good. Great rooms - love the shower! Excellent breakfast. (Shame the staff were a bit too efficient - our breakfast was actually cleared as we went to get another coffee. Waste of food, to say the least... so maybe be a little more laid-back?!) Good... I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Camper. The rooms are very bright, clean and modern, simply decorated but with every convenience. Bathrooms are well designed and spacious. The 24 hour upstairs lounge/ breakfast room is a great place to relax. Very cheerful. Breakfasts are great too. We had researched several different hotels in Berlin and chose this one over... More

I was searching on trip advisor for an upcoming trip and realised I never left a review of Casa Camper. Basically we had a fab stay. The room is simple but very spacious and the bathroom area is great. We found the staff friendly and the hotel pretty quiet. Breakfast was great with a huge selection and lots of veggie... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
