Very clean and newly decorated apartment in a quiet location. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment with two bathrooms, really we'll equipped kitchenette with comfy lounge/ dining area. Comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space. Really can't fault it apart from taxis or buses to reach everything. We walked, about 20 mins to reach the main areas on foot.... More

About 10 mins walk from the main train station and walkable to most places. I was luckily upgraded to a 1 bed room with bath as my original studio was not ready when I arrived at 3pm. There are road works external to the hotel so interior facing rooms are best. No free wifi in the rooms is unusual and... More

We stayed at the Adina Apartment Hotel near the main station in April 2015. The apartment had a kitchen and eating area, as well as a lounge with sofa bed, modern bathroom and a double bedroom. We loved having the flexibility of cooking on evenings when we didn't want to go out. We also used the washing machine. The hotel staff... More

his place was fantastic. The staff were helpful, the food was great, the WiFi was free (in the lobby) and reasonably priced in the room. It is really close to tram and bus services and just up the road from Ubahn. Did I say the staff were great.

This was an absolutely brilliant hotel for location, style and atmosphere - it is located within ten minutes walk of the main station so that access from all airports is brilliant. Upon arrival the staff speak excellent English compared to my tres limited German - luckily the lady I was with assisted - and we were given an upgrade to... More

We chose the Adina Apartment Hotel Berlin as we wanted more space and comfort for a week's stay in Berlin. The location is about a 10 minute straight walk from the Hauptbahnhof and a 5 minute walk to the UBahn Station of Naturkundemuseum in the other direction and on a side square off the main road. It was always a... More

My friends and I booked a last minute city break for a couple of days in Berlin so we wanted to find somewhere central and this place was ideal!! The hotel was close to Hauptbahnhof Train Station and round the corner from a tram stop (quick way of getting around the city) along with plenty of restaurants, museums etc. Our... More

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The rooms were large, comfortable & spotless. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious. Receptionists were particularly helpful & spoke fluent English. Short walk to tram stop, mainline station & Reichstag etc. would recommend & stay again.

The Adina Apartment Hotel was perfect for our stay. Lovely room, with a small kitchen area and a washing machine and a tumble dryer. It was very nice to have so much space and not feel one was just in a bed room. The bedroom was separate. Very good service at the main desk. Nice breakfast in restaurant. Very good... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
