Upon entering the hotel, it feels warm and cosy. Check-in was a breeze with all reservations being correct and additional requests being met. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Sleeping was quiet with little sound being heard from within or outside. We ate dinner in the restaurant once and found the meal to be excellent. Our son was accommodated... More

It's location is about 10 mins walk from the main train station, and about 7 mins walk to the u bahn. I think that's convenient enough. But the surrounding vicinity is relatively quiet, though not seedy or unsafe. Just that it lacks readily accessible food or shopping conveniences. I think the major plus point is the spaciousness of the apartments.... More

We originally chose here for its convenient location to the main train station as we were travelling to Dresden after Berlin. We were so happy with our stay that we booked it again on our return. Most areas around main train stations are edgy, run down and uninteresting but same cannot be said for Berlin. It's very well located for... More

Accommodation - I completely agree with previous comments - our one bedroom apartment was very comfortable, decorated and furnished in a contemporary style, and well equipped (except for the missing corkscrew!). Despite cold weather the room was warm - we even turned down the heating. If you want to have a bath, plan ahead; it took about 15 minutes to... More

I've tried several hotels in Berlin before finding this place, and definitely this is the one I will book further when I'm back in Berlin again. The location is ok, walking distance from the main station and from the center of the city. But the rooms (all studios actually) are amazing. I've been upgraded to a superior room but nevertheless... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Adina Berlin HB. Upon checking in, we were positively surprised with an upgrade from an Studio apartment to a one-bedroom apartment. The apartment was very modern, ample, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had a very nice feel to it. The bathroom was large and with a bigger than average bathtub, it also had a... More

We can only join the long list of reviewers on here that highly rate this hotel. The room was fantastic, the staff were polite, efficient & helpful. We didn't dine at the hotel but did make use of the bar (especially during happy hour !) & that was spot-on too. Had every intention of using the pool & leisure facilities... More

We had a city break in Berlin in December. Everything was very easy at the Adina. Staff were really helpful. The men more than the women. When times are busy - don't just give us a map but offer to highlight points of interest later - ask the customer to come back when it's quieter. The reception is the first... More

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment in September and pleased with our choice, walking distance to the central station, very clean facilities, staff very attentive and polite, had dinner one night which we enjoyed. Can walk to the Berlin Wall, the parliament and restaurant areas. A handy little hotel with very reasonable rates. Some reviewers complain about wifi but we... More

The Adina Apartment Hotel was chosen because of its location, an easy 10 minutes walk from the Berlin Central Station-Hauptbahnhof, and because we wanted a quiet, spacious and comfortable place to stay. This was what we got. The Reception staff was always professional, helpful and friendly to us (thank you all!). As to the hotel restaurant, we didn't use it.... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
