We stayed for 6 nights, great size apartment. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was excellent. Location was very good, just a short walk to the train station, and then easy to get to all the attractions.

Fantastic hotel, really enjoyed our stay here. We had the one bedroom apartment and were very impressed with how much room we had and how clean and modern everything was. Even having a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwater. Why have a normal hotel room when you can have nice large apartment style accommodation for a very reasonable price? The... More

Nice hotel quite near Brandenburger Tor (less than 10 minutes walk), calm and quiet. Nice clean studio with a fresh looking bathroom. The kids were wild about the swimming pool. Nice staff, we wanted to stay another night and it was no problem. Dinner was a disappointment though, the risotto was not ready and the service was neglecting. The breakfast... More

This is a fantastic Apartment Hotel. The rooms are very spacious and modern and very clean. You feel right at home immediately. The location is incredible and even in the cold it was an easy walk to lots of the major attractions. The staff went out of their way for us - and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was... More

Customer service was exceptional. Almost everyone in this hotel speaks fluent English and they are friendly. Food was very delicious, just give them enough time for preparation. This hotel has a nice swimming pool as well.

I was recommended this hotel by my best friend who stays there frequently. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof, although it seemed longer when walking there in a -12 degree wind chill day. I had booked 4 nights in their basic room but was upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which was nice. The room was very... More

As a family staying there over New Years Eve for 4 nights we loved it. Thought the staff were brilliant and the ambiance of the place perfect. The apartment was spacious clean and quiet, with the darkened blinds we could of slept forever. Will certainly return. Happy. New Year to all at Adina.

The staff at check in was friendly and gave us "tourist" tips with a smile! We started with happy hour and drinks at the restaurant. The room was good size with a well equipped kitchen. The neighborhood of Mitte was quiet, charming, quaint and one of our favorite areas of Germany.

We stayed at the Adina Hauptbahnhof just before Christmas. We booked this hotel because of its apartment style rooms, and we were not disappointed. The rooms have clearly been refurbished and are very clean and modern. The kitchen appliances are all new and the bathrooms were nice - which is always very important, especially for family trips. Staff were very... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
