I stayed here because of a tour but it was a nice hotel. Located close to the Ku'dam and walkable to the Memorial Church and KaDeWe. My room was large and clean. Decor was modern. I was here for two nights and was very comfortable. When in Berlin pick up the Hop on/Hop off bus or the 100 bus for... More

We've just return from berlin and stayed at abba hotel. Its location is super just on kodum street and close to sub train. Rooms are very clean and nice we got there and found they didnt get us a double bed and just combine 2 beds, with no delay they replaced the room. Breakfast is also well, there is not... More

This is a very good hotel. Not to big, not to small and located perfect in central Berlin. Close to U- and S-Bahn as well as some really good restaurants and bars. The hotel is modern and rooms are great. Great breakfast and bar, didn't try dinner. The staff is very helpful and made our stay a great one. Prices... More

Hotel staff is very polite and helpfull. In our five days stay here, we had to make use of our medical insurance and had the utmost help from the reception staff. The breakfast is very good, but it is somewhat awkward having to lean down to grab the plates. I hit my head in a glass panel whilst doing so,... More

Again with Holiday+ (Room free/pay for meals). Initially, they couldn't find our booking, but we had paper copy of their email acceptance & so sorted with many apologies. Rooms were smart, clean & functional. Hotel was only ~200m from Kurfurstendamm and the journey to/from Schonefeld airport to Zoologischer station (for S & U bahn & Regional) was quick and direct.... Was here for a pre Christmas weekend. Hotel was located a few minutes from the U-Bahn and S-Bahn which made getting around very easily, also only 30 mins from Tegel airport by bus. Within 10 minutes walk of numerous restaurants though booking advisable if a particular one in mind as they got very busy . Hotel was clean and comfortable... More

A fairly standard large and modern city hotel. The place was clean and well appointed although lacked any atmosphere and really you could've been anywhere in the world as there was nothing that really suggested you were in Berlin (even some pictures etc would've helped). We also experienced the same event as described by another reviewer below of the housekeeping... More

The hotel building and rooms itself is ok, sorry to say that the attention and service level is rockbottom. 1. 30-40 minutes for check-in. Staff: Just a minute....and everything will be ok... 2. Wrong room standards than booked. 3. Expired roomcards. Staff: Haven´t you leave... 4. Cleaning staff entering the room at 8AM. Staff...Sorry, thought it was empty...

Heating in room doesn't work. No kettle in room as standard. Room service doesn't bring up hot drinks alone (must order food). Breakfast €14 pp per day. Food ok but not value for money. Be prepared to carry all your luggage to your room yourself. Nice chandeliers though

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
