Less than 50 metres from the U- Bahn station this hotel is a great base for exploring Berlin. The hotel was clean, warm with friendly staff who spoke perfect English. Free WiFi all through hotel. Decent size room with all the facilities you would expect from a mid range hotel. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of hot and cold items and... More

Reading various reviews and what was shown as the Hotel facility I had booked this hotel for 3 night stay at Berlin. I was disappointed at the room facility. The carpet was stinking and the odour never left the room for 3 days! The breakfast was not worth the money! "Honey' was never there on the breakfast option for all... More

Just back after spending 3 nights at this Hotel. Fab breakfast, 12 euro extra, Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated near the U_Bahn, some dodgey characters hanging about first morning we arrived, so be careful. There's a fab reasonable Restaurant just across the road, I loved the food there, typical German, however, it was not to my... More

We stayed here for four days in December. The location is superb, the friedrichstrasse is just around the corner and there's excellent public transport in the area. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. I would definetly recommend Hotel Leonardo.

The hotel is located in Charlottenburg, a residential area of West Berlin. The U-Bahn station Bismarckstrasse is 20 meters away, which makes it very easy to connect to other parts of Berlin. The neighborhood is okay -- there are a few restaurants, fast food joints, as well as a supermarket right around the corner. The staff is friendly, rooms very... More

Nice clean modern hotel. Good breakfast buffet, but expensive if not included in room rate. (which was good in our case) Suitable for a short stay, but a bit short of storage space for a longer stay. (Wardrobe, but no drawers) Location: conveniently close to U-bahn. Not too far from city. Biggest problem was WiFi didn't work and receptionist couldn't... More

Nice clean hotel in a great location. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. U-bahn station just outside the hotel. Staff efficient if not overly friendly. Our booking included breakfast which was much better than most hotels. Would book again.

Stayed at the Leonardo Hotel for two nights on a mini-break to Berlin. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the underground was only a few steps away, so it was definitely a good budget option. No complaints at all. However, we felt a long way from all the action although the u-bahn does go direct to most of the... More

Clean enough sized rooms, very good location(so close to metro) but bad Breakfast for people don't eat pork. Most negative point is for wifi there is a free wifi at hotel but it us really really bad. You can keep your Luggages at hotel after check out thanks for that. To sum up good choice for business trip but don't... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
