We stayed for 4 nights last week. Wonderful hotel. Great staff and excellent choice for breakfast. The U ban around the corner. Rooms cleaned every day. Shower excellent. Hotel ideally situated. Lovely restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful time.

We have just stayed for 3 nights on a fortnight's tour around Germany and can't fault the Leonardo. I asked for a quiet non-smoking room and we got exactly that- top floor room at the back. Everything we needed was in the room apart from a fridge, wifi worked brilliantly, breakfast choice and service was amazing considering the number of... More

We had been in this hotel for 4 nights and it was a pleasant experience. The staff is kind and tolerant. The location is greatest - near the U-bahn "U-Bismarck". The breakfast is very various and tasty. A little disadvantage is that the room is a little bit small. However, for the rate we paid and for what we had... More

Stayed at the Leonardo hotel off wilmersdorfer street in June for 3 nights, was unexpectedly good looked like a small place but soon realised was a lot larger than expected. All very friendly staff, me and my partner both speak English and was no problems with communication. Room wasn't huge but you get what you pay for and was enough... More

We felt anonymous and treated cheaply here. During our 6 night stay our sheets were only changed once- we were told that hotel policy is to change sheets every 3 days. We only received one bottle of water upon arrival. Tea and coffee in our room wasn't replenished. The soap and shower gel were located in difficult to dispense bottles... More

The hotel is located 50 m from Bismark stressed u Hahn. It is surrounded by useful cheap places to eat and a pedestrian shopping street is 100 m away with all main chain shops. So location is great for those on a budget. Service was friendly from everyone. Room was quiet, clean and well maintained. Breakfast again great with very... More

This is a very good hotel, with welcoming staff who easily slipped into English to help us out. Our room was clean and comfortable, with good beds and really good power shower. It was also nice to get English news channels on the TV to keep up to date with home! Also the free WiFi was quick and much appreciated.... More

Leonardo is member of the "hotel - net", so expect very big hotel, especially during weekend full of people (but during breakfast no problems!). The room has enough space, comfy a and modern furbished, 100% clean. Perfect location for Deutsche Oper, just few steps from U-bahn. Just two things were disappointing, because for 144 eur you can expect service without... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
