First impressions were good. The room was clean if not a bit on the small side. However, there were a number of small things that prevented me from having a good stay. 1. Toiletries were never replaced. Initially we got a small bottle of shampoo/conditioner, but after using it, it was never replaced. Neither was the bottle of water we... More

Leonardo hotel has anything you need for a reasonable price.I would not take breakfast at the hotel, because there are plenty more good options nearby much cheaper. There was one moment of noise at 6 am, when a man unloaded his van with a kind of lorry. Don't know if this was hotel-related.

Hotel is located less than 15 min from Tegel airport. Taxi costs approx. 14 Eur. Room did not have minibar which was a downside. Quiet place (our room was to inner yard) and spacious room. If you want to save on breakfast, there is brötchen place just around the corner where you can buy filled baquettes for couple euros (tip:... More

We were here only for our honeymoon night. It was a gift from my sister. Upon arriving at the hotel, we directly got to the reception and after hearing that we were on our honeymoon, they gave us an instant upgrade. It was a very generous act from the staffs of this hotel. They also made sure that our stay... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel over the valentines weekend and I have to say that it was the best and most enjoyable place to stay. The staff were excellent and the food was good to. I will be back in Berlin again and would stay here again. Will recommend to all.

This is my second time staying at Leonardo Hotel, and I'm very satisfied with it. The rooms are clean, the staff is nice and the price is good (also great location). It is very close to an u-bahn (Bismarckstrasse), and Wilmerdorfstrasse, which is filled with different stores and supermarkets.

A great hotel which I though was very good value for money. Rooms are a decent size; nice, albeit compact, bathroom; no road noise; little noise from inside the hotel; clean, warm and generally pleasant with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and plentiful and it is right... More

Stayed at the Leonardo with my husband and son for a short city break having seen previous good reviews here. No nasty surprises, exactly as expected. The room was clean with good supply of thick towels, shower was amazing (plenty of hot water) and tea/coffee tray was replenished daily. Beds really comfy. The breakfasts were the best, so much to... I stayed 3 nights for a business trip. During check out at 23 March 08.30 am the reception staff ( 2 women ) was rude, agressive and ironic with me and in felt a racist behavior towards me probably due to my Greek nationality. Otherwise the hotel is located in convenient position from the city center, 100 m from U... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
