Stayed in the Audrey Hepburn appartment. Well equiped appartment, very clean and very good location: Prenzlauerberg. Around the corner you immediately find yourself engulfed with amazing shops, boutiques, bars and more... You can walk nearly everywhere and public transportation is very close. Only (small) downside in the appartment was the small bathroom.

We stayed in the Frieda apartment for 5 days, and it was perfect, with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, spacious living room and free wifi. The decor was very nice and the apartment was spotless. Convenient location, a 5 min walk from Vienettastraße train station, and right beside the tram, getting around was easy. The people in charge were very helpful and... More

Nice and quiet appartment in Prenzlauer Berg with free W-LAN and great atmosphere. You really have to call them when you arrive and fix a meeting to get the keys. The people are friendly and the appartment was clean and modern. The location is excellent, near a Tram, Tube and S-Bahn station.

Stayed at Elvis apartment, which was nice & clean, well equipped with appliances and tastefully decorated. Extremely good value for money and situated in the coolest district of Berlin - Prenzlauer-Berg. Staff were helpful and accessible, if required.

I stayed in the James-apartment for nine days in in June which is located near Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg. First of all, the people running this business are very friendly and easy to communicate with. If there was any problems at all, I could just pick up the phone and someone would be there during 4-5 minutes fixing the... More

My partner and I stayed in the "Steve McQueen" themed apartment for a few nights in Jan 2012. For both of us this was our first trip to Berlin and we are very happy that we chose to go with this apartment. Very clean, very cool, a friendly owner and a great location that all contributed to a perfect stay.... More

I booked the Elvis themed apartment to visit family in Berlin and was very happy with it. The location was great in a very prettty street close to nice restaurants on Eberswalde Str and Oderberger Str. The apartment was clean and really spacious, with a decent size living space and a nice, modern kitchen. It's on the ground floor too... More

I'm a graduate student who comes to Berlin from time to time to do research. I rented an apartment in Prenzlauer Berg for a month and was extremely happy with the location and with the apartment and service overall. The apartment is right near the M1 tram line, which takes you directly to Mitte, the HU, Unter den Linden, and... More

Not bad at all.. close to many (cheap) dinings and public transportation. I stayed in an appartment named 'Elivs', it was a good looking little studio, clean and nicely decorated.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
